Yeah, even as I sit here dozing off with my laptop by me, I really feel like going out to do shit. Not a feeling I often get. Otherwise, I'm pretty much in the same boat, with sleep being the most fun I have all week.

I used to draw when I was a kid, I NEVER do, or paint any more. I don't have the patience
Reading books, magazines (Wired, Popular Mechanics, New Scientist, Time etc)
I like to cook stuff I have never cooked before, when nobody is waiting on a meal, but I find coming up with dinners suitable for my family of 5 each night is a total drain.
I took up photography for a hobby, but I got bored with it once I went pro
I collect robots and barbapapa stuff
Shopping on eBay or IKEA.
Orging, playing snood.
Watching DVDs.
Travel would be my preferred hobby, if I could actually get away more often.
Raising kids, kind of. I used to be all enthusiastic and read mountains of books on it, but lost interest
I used to like indoor plants and cacti, but they largely fend for themselves these days.

I... paint with my kids, dance, read, play video games, play hide and seek with my kids, cook, masturbate, give people manicures, bundle my kids, listen to music, try to play music, go shopping, watch films, visit friends, get drunk, take my kids to the park, phone friends, sing (badly), play football with my kids, drive fast, eat out, play paintball (not with my kids), fly kites with my kids, walk other people's dogs, have sex, browse youtube for videos of people falling over, hunt for insects with my kids, eat chocolate, go to the pub, sit in the hot-tub.

Acting. My next play opens Thursday night. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Thanks.
It's a trilogy, actually - called The Norman Conquests. All three plays take place in the same house, on the same weekend, with the same characters. Each tells what happens in the dining room (Table Manners), the living room (Living Together) and the garden (Round and Round the Garden).
It's a huge deal - very few local companies have the balls to attempt this. It requires three sets, three sets of props and six actors with a ginormous capacity for learning lines (among other things) - since all three plays are full length. We're doing them in rotation over a five-week run.
Plus, the playwright (Alan Ayckbourn) wrote them in British vernacular, which means we had to use a standard British dialect. Getting the British accents of six American actors to match perfectly is no small feat. I think we've done pretty well with it all. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
