You should check out the 1980 cult movie favorite "Carny". It's about life on the road with a traveling carnival. It's not so much about unusual sideshows or circuses, rather than being about alienation, angst, and dealing with being "different" from the rest of society & stuff. You can probably find it streaming online somewhere.

Your nails are really long, but it works for you. I'm obsessed w/ keeping my nails short...I can't stand long nails. I had my nails done one time at a nail salon when I was in middle school and I didn't like it and I haven't had them done since. At least those are your nails and not fake ones because after wearing fake ones for so long, they kill your nail bed. I used to be so obsessed w/ having really short nails to the point where I used to file them down almost to the point were they would bleed....yeah kinda crazy.
I admire people who are different and follow the beat to their own drum. I'm drawn to people who are not like everyone else. I love body art too. I have a tattoo (that I'm planning on covering up), but I want some more though. I also used to have a navel piercing, but after a year and a half, I took it out...just too much maintenance and it never healed up correctly. To this day, I still don't have my ears pierced. I've had very bad luck in the past w/ piercings even though I love them. I have very sensitive skin and break out from certain metals. (I'm going to try one last time to get my ears pierced...this will be my 5th time trying.)
I can relate to you a lot. I've always felt different and enjoyed being different. From the types of clothes I wore and just my attitude in general. I got so much crap from kids growing up in school. I never fit in and I only had a few friends growing up that were like me....outcasts. I prefer to live an alternative lifestyle than a normal one. Normal is quite boring to me tbh. I went through a punk rock phase a few years back and used to paint my fingernails only in the color black. When it became the "in" thing to wear black nail polish, I stopped wearing it and haven't polished my nails that color since then. (I used to be obsessed w/ MJ and dressed how he used to dress during his Bad Era phase w/ all the belts and buckles.) I happened to shop at Hot Topic too and cut up some of my clothes so I could make them my own. (I remember one of my ex's used to criticize me about how I would dress because he didn't like it, but I was just expressing myself. He just didn't understand it or me for that matter.) If you saw me now, you would think I looked pretty normal though. I want to get back into dressing kind of how I used to, but more sophicated though. I'm obsessed w/ rocker clothes and the colors purple and black...I can't help it!

I had my ears pierced when I was little, but I took them out...I didn't like the whole ear piercing experience back then. Then I had them done again later on as I got older at a random mall in Penn. w/ an old friend. The lady pierced my ears at the mall told me to take them out in a week (she didn't know wth she was talking about.) As a result, I took them out and couldn't get one of the earrings back in my ear, so I let the holes in both my ears close up. The 3rd time, I went to my skin doctor and had her do it, but they didn't heal up properly, so that was that. The last time I had my ears pierced was in Wildwood NJ at some random tattoo shop. My ears got infected because of the gold metal...that was pure hell. I still have scar tissue in my right ear lobe from that whole experience. I plan on getting it taken out once I get them pierced again for the final time hopefully.

I wanted my cartilage pierced too at one point, but because of what I went through w/ my navel piercing, I decided not to go through w/ it.

Red Like Roses by OPI is a good one. I do nothing professionally. I only do things for fun. johnart: Acrylic's old bras is where tits of all sizes go to frolic after they die. Tit Heaven.

I don't think Sally's sells the OPI brand. I have a Sally's store 10 minutes away from me. I usually shop at Target and Bed Bath And Beyond for my nail polish.

I googled it...OPI isn't cheap though. It can range from $6.49 (Nicole by OPI which is the cheaper version) to almost $9.

Around these parts Sally's doesnt "supply" the salons... You can not get into places like Peel's, where beauticians shop, without having your lisence which you dont need at Sally's, anyone can walk in and purchse products... You wont find the good salon brands at Sally's... They are not name brands ~~~~~ Oh that voice...incredible....there should be a musical instrument called George Michael... ~~~~~

Np.
Touch ups are the worst. I have a chemical relaxer in my hair and I have to get my roots done every 6 weeks or so. My hair grows out so fast to the point where I really should get it touched up every 5 weeks. I always put off getting my hair done (the process is annoying) and wait up to 8 weeks when the root is really showing which is bad. lol I'm due for a touch up now...I'll probably get my hair done next Monday or Tuesday at the latest just in the for the upcoming Prince concert. I can't wait to get my hair cut. It's been too long...
