Obscene? Really? You're super comfortable in your own skin which is all that should matter. Hey girl, you know I love ya anyway you look. You have a heart of gold and are super fun to hang with. If you love your nails, than that's all that should matter...I love the color btw. For my profession, I can't have super long nails, piercings, or anything dangly or shiny that can be easily grabbed. It's not because I care about what anyone would say but because I don't particularly want a dog or cat to grap a hold of anything and detach it. I break a nail at work and I want to cry. I have two very visible tattoos that I show off to all our clients when they come in and the higher ups see them and don't say anything. I do my job very well and if they want to be stupid and point out my visible tattoos than that's pretty sad to me because I'm good at what I do and that's all they should worry about. Keep being you, girly.

It's funny how people care enough about how someone looks to give them titles. To this day, nothing is more freaky looking to me than uniforms, which is sad considering I went to private school my whole life. Nothing creepier than a whole bunch of people dressed in the same outfit....can never join any military branch; I just can't do it; I just can't. I used to go out of my way to make myself look different from all my classmates in some way (used to always wear bright nail polish, lots of jewelry, and lots of hoodies). Didn't care about standing out, just didn't want to look like everybody else because that's just....weird. I commend 'freaks' and 'rebels' for finding their own individuality because there isn't anything normal or sane about looking like everybody else.

OK... go to a salon for the smoothing out... the perspective of the tech looking at your nails from a different POV can shape your nails perfectly.

The brows... grow them in and leave the thickness from the nose the same to the center of the brow. This will make your brows appear thicker. This is a good thing for you, your eyes are brilliant and would look great with a slighter heavier brow.

The arc of the brow should begin at the center, go up gradually then down to obtain a sort of hockey stick shape... going into a pointed end on by the temple.

Right now your arc starts from the edge to edge creating highest point of the arc in the center of the brow and to me this is not an ideal shape for you. You need more angular shaped brows.

Never shave them... if you grow them in completely and have them threaded by one of those Indian women you will get excellent results since they are great at shaping ... the best IMHO. Once you see the shape, it'll be easy to imitate at home w/ teezers.

oh don't even get me started about visible tattoos and piercings. i had to cover em bandaids for my last job. then after 2 weeks they said not to. they had em too! i worked there 3 yrs b4 gettiing transferred to a different location. the stupid bitch at the new one. omfg. we get a new district manager who wants to be real strict. so the bandaids again. then long sleeves...so the place was a revolving door with workers and she would hire ppl and not tell them the dress code so i look like a fruit loop and ppl ask me if i was in a car accident or had a reaction to wax a mustache or plastic surgery?! all these new ppl are walking around with all their mods showing. i'll bring it up and have a hissy fit so many times that if its not about quanity and this rule for everyone then why ain't she enforcing this rule. she says she may miss it and would get pissy when i pointed it out.

discrimination! i called to report her and was told i would need proof from 3 or 4 other present ppl and stupid shit like that.

i eventually left there cause the heat went out and they expected us to work with no winter coats or sweaters. the heat was never good in that space. i'd be in my little safe room counting the money and setting up the deposit for the aromored truck guy to pick up either sweating or wrapped up in a comforter shivering.

amen to that. i went to catholic school for the first 3 yrs. they kicked me out telling my parents i need ritalin cause i couldn't sit still. i was only in special ed one year but they outcasted me after that for riding the small bus!! but what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. i'd love to go kick all their asses now being they'd be afraid of me now. shit the most ritalin i was on was 10mg the dose for a 5 yr old!! that shit made you look like a damn skeleton and i would consider that a big factor in all my medicial issues now.

thanks i try! i love my crazy plastic frames. i had ones with the lenses tinted pink b4. you can thank jonathan from korn for that. his kooky frames always inspired me the most growing up on that band idolizing him.

i've found quite a few pairs throughout the years that look like one's he's had...i even got them made with sunglasses frames...like these!

where diamond..i'm guessing a diamond stud in her nose? well i've switched to the smallest beads they make expect for the middle lip. i used to wear a ring

yes but i got fake acrylic ones ontop to protect them from breaking and so the polish doesn't chip

Being totally honest purple (and just my opinion), i think you need to go get your eyebrows done professionally. You have fantastically beautiful blue eyes and you should have the eyebrows to match. May take some time to get them how you want them, but it'll be worth it.

However, pretty much everytime someone puts any kind of effort into not looking "normal" or "like everybody else" they just look like everybody else who's trying to not look "normal".

I'll reference Purplemookie's look (since it's the topic of this thread). Regardless of what anyone may think of it, good, bad or indifferent, sets her apart from one group and makes her look the same as another. It's just a different type of conforming.

I don't know what my beard makes me a part off? Beards are everywhere now, so I guess you could categorize me as trynna be trendy, or bear-ish or daddy-ish or, wtf knows.

Fortunately I have no issues being or looking like others.

My individuality comes from my sense of humor and creativity and how I relate to others.
