well the tattoos can be covered with long sleeves all the piercings are showing.

i'll just cut em shorter when i get a new job. i've always had em long and bright colors.

if they don't like something like long blue nails then i don't wanna work for them.

don't forget i am i jersey..ok so their nails aint this long but girls around here do tend to rock bright polish

I know what it's like. I was unemployed for a two-year stretch back in the early 00s. It sucked to say the least.

i'm a compulsive shopper. i buy stuff online,concerts and book trips. this has been a problem for 12 yrs now. believe me i won't be moving out away from mommy anytime soon. not unless daddy actually agreed to pay for a dorm and i went back to school....

Not my style, but sure takes commitment. I've also seen nails like this get incredibly long -- and somehow the women could still do things like type!! It amazes me!

I've often wondered how tough it is to cut them off eventually. I've heard that at extraordinarily long lengths, the blood vessels in the nail bed may actually grow into parts of the nail plate, I suppose because they have more tissue to irrigate (???)

I love long nails but when they start to curl like that its not at all attractive... Yours are looking to thick also, and your nail tech has way to many lumps and bumps, they arent smooth... Nails should be pretty and accentuate your hands...

I'd buy my own nail Jeannie (sander) and re-sand the overlay if I were you. They need to be smoothed out.

It would make your nails look great at any length. I love the blue on you. I think you should go green too. Nicole for OPI has great shades. You could rock such funky colors since the nails are so long.... including banana yellow.

I'd reshape your eyebrows too, you have very pretty eyes and the brow shape you have now takes away from that. Looks like you might need to re-grow the brow completely and re-shape. You should try to get them threaded when they grow in completely and not waxed. I am a brow fanatic.

I don't think they're obscene. Mine used to be long like that; but now for my job I have to keep them shorter.

As someone who has worked at a salon before AND spends a good portion of her life in one, take it from me: You need a new nail tech. They are lumpy and bumpy and uneven. The curve in them looks fine; but the acrylic looks like holy hell.

I'm sure your nails are beautiful, and as someone who's had that length, they're very nice; I just think you need a new salon.

nail tech? like i'm gonna pay someone 30-40 bux? cvs and itunes. i never paid for a manicure. don't they reuse flies. yuck. i was treated to a pedicure once and its like they paint just a stripe down the middle and missed the sides.

same with hair. not including a little kid i went around 19 i guess to get the black dye out. they destroyed my hair and gave me something like a mullet. NEVER ever again. i go to sally's for all my dyes and nail polish. did i learn? no 2 yrs later i tried to do dreadlocks..they didn't not up. a few broke off so i gi janed it. god dang was i scary looking in that phase growing my hair out.........

ya i need to by another good sander thing. i've only been using those cheap as emery boards.

what shape brows do you suggest? cause i've had ppl compliments the natural arch. i don't wax em. i just keep a tweezer near the mirror. actually around 16-17 i went thru a goth phase and totally shaved them off once cause marilyn manson did that..they never grew back right.could be worse...then could be like the ppl in the bad eyebrow thread tattooed on.

yes b4 i started wearing the fake ones nonstop to protect the real ones i'll never forget the basketball thrown to me in highschool that broke how many nails. that sucked. these things are so tough they may bend off the nailbed but don't break off anymore. ohhh imagine that! ripping the whole nail off! ouch!

Buffer would help; also maybe a thinner coat of acrylic would make them look more real, considering they actually are, lol.

But one could say the same thing to you about some of the things you spend your money on.... Its just where a persons priorities are and whats important to them... If I want amazing looking nails, I go to a salon... I have never in all my years gotten a fungus...

OK... go to a salon for the smoothing out... the perspective of the tech looking at your nails from a different POV can shape your nails perfectly.

The brows... grow them in and leave the thickness from the nose the same to the center of the brow. This will make your brows appear thicker. This is a good thing for you, your eyes are brilliant and would look great with a slighter heavier brow.

The arc of the brow should begin at the center, go up gradually then down to obtain a sort of hockey stick shape... going into a pointed end on by the temple.

Right now your arc starts from the edge to edge creating highest point of the arc in the center of the brow and to me this is not an ideal shape for you. You need more angular shaped brows.

Never shave them... if you grow them in completely and have them threaded by one of those Indian women you will get excellent results since they are great at shaping ... the best IMHO. Once you see the shape, it'll be easy to imitate at home w/ teezers.
