I've been blessed to still have my mother around, she recently celebrated her 81st birthday on Christmas Eve. She started having vision problems a few days ago, she has since lost her vision.

I took her to the ER today, they performed a CT and found out she had a stroke, and has a tumor on the front part of her brain. They will be doing an MRI in the morning, to see if it's metastatic or primary. I'm really having a time dealing with this, but I know their is strength in numbers, so I welcome your thoughts and prayers .

My mon will celebrate her 80th birthday in 3 weeks and thank God she is okay apart from some health problems such as diabetes and hihg blood pressure.

On behalf of my mom and I, I want to thank all the well wishers, for the Posi†ive vibes. I've been through so many emotions these past weeks, it's not even funny. My mom is doing as well as to be expected in her medical condition. She's since been released from the hospital, and is currently in a nursing rehabilitaion facility, under Hospice Care. It's hard seeing her in this way, she's showing signs of the early stages of dementia, and her appetite is not great.

My mother has taken in more medication, the past weeks, than she has in her entire lifetime. Every now and then, I see her when she's not heavily medicated and cherish the moment. She's doing Physical , Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy now as well.
