Your love of Wolf for legit reasons and not because it's so bad it's good reasons takes all the sting out of this.

'Dynamite' has some great songs on it ("Seven Days In Sunny June","Starchild","Electric Mistress") but it falls apart midway through.'Rock Dust Light Star' is very consistent from beginning to end.
Electric Mistress is one of my favorite songs ever!
But you have DEMANDED so I'm on my way to amazon now.

'A Funk Odyssey' is my favorite album by them
That album contains the perfect mix of Old School funk and disco mixed with modern-day electronica. It's actually my favorite album of the 2000s.
I like only singles of that album and beautiful "Picture Of My Life". As I said, first three albums are classics (even thought the second one has mediocre audio quality). Then it became "singles" band. They are still great live, though
Alot of fans think that the first three albums are the best but interestingly,I didn't become a fan until their fourth album 'Synchronized'.I guess I'm more of a fan of their funk/disco music,as opposed to the more experimental acid jazz stuff that they were doing in the beginning.
You're right, they are a great live act.I hope that they launch an American tour sometime this year,as the rumors suggest. |

Am I the only one who thinks that the intro of Electric Mistress sounds very similar to Futurama theme song?
Yeah,it does I like the bells that you hear throughout that song.Nice touch. |

I think Jamiroquai is funkier than almost anything else in R&B right now. |
