January has just started and it already feels a month long.

It's going to fly by for me - my next play opens the 13th!

it always seems to be nearly March before my mind registers that we've changed years.

YUP....i hate it as well. actually jan 17th is known as the most depressing day of the yr....the happiest is june 17th

only good thing is my sons B-day is on the 22nd.

winter in general is depressing, cold, dark, boring, i go a bit stir crazy.....

actually the entire season between November and April sucks. May be pretty in Northern Ontario Canada, but last week was minus 30 and nothing fun about that. It's snow plows and over salted roads and I swear I could kill that little MF that likes to grate at my sidewalk at 4:30AM, and I've given the big plows the finger numerous times - LIFT YOUR FREAKIN BLADE! I spend 2 hours shoveling out my driveway and they come along and fill it all in again. It's too many clothes, I feel like the Michelin woman. I miss my bike, shopping, my hammock, gardening...hell, I even miss cutting the grass (never thought I'd say that). This summer I'm going to experiment with xeriscaping. F*ck the grass and high water bill trying to keep it alive. Thank you for allowing me to vent

It's my birth month

I usually hate the winter months because of the cold but this month, from the second week til now has been unbelievably awsome

It's been snowing literaly every week since this month began. I feel like I live on the North pole. I'm so ready for spring.

January is one of my busier times at work so it flies by!

Today was 75 and gorgeous. Tomorrow should be the same. Still the possibility of snow on Tuesday then back up to the 50s/60s by Superbowl weekend. These kinda fluctuations keep folks sick around here.

But I'll take this rather that 20+ inches of snow.
