Ottensen

I always enjoy Joan. One hand I felt great for the film cause I like her chutzpah and work ethic. On the other it was slightly depressing because you know you're watching an icon fade into the sunset of their life (knowing damn well they don't want to go).

3.5/5 stars

I'm at a point in my life where I'm simply bored by these stories of middle- aged female, middle class angst. Even Italy, Julia Roberts, and her kind acts at the end of the movie couldn't save this whiny ass film for me...and I adore Julia Roberts.

2.5/5 stars

Watch Internet Dating

1 1/2 hours of my life that I will never get back again. The girls look like they were all casted from the local strip joint, and the acting... other than Williams thse folks all need to take classes in comedic timing, and why oh why did they let this thing be shot with somebody's blackberry.confused

1.5/5 stars

Great cinematography. Had a few little twists at the end that I liked.

4.5/5 stars

I was bored, and found myself not really caring about these characters. This movie's like a staler sibling to Jack Nicholson & Diane Keaton in Meyer's "Somethings Gotta Give", but without the charm. For a budget of 85 Million bucks, I expected more. It had the names, the gloss, and the sheen that I love in a rom com for people of a certain age, but not much else. Oh, and Hans Zimmer basically just inserted a blander copy of the score he composed for "Something's Gotta Give" into this, although the first underscore was better... and so was the film neutral

2.5/5 stars

I know, it happens a lot and I hate it but it's when we're watching something else and put on a movie much too late. After an hour I'm like, stop it, we need to go to sleep and that's when we stop in the middle of the movie...

You really need to get avatar back, it's such a good movie. And I know, people are so messy, when I lend a book or a cd or whatever, it's bye bye! I don't understand, those are my things... right? confused

Saw that last week. Really enjoyed it, although I thought Danny Boyle was a weird choice of director for this type of story... James Franco's choices of role of late has really increased my appreciation of him.

Change it one more time..

I FINALLY got to see "The Fighter" today and what a great movie it is! After watching the Golden Globes last week and even before that, I've been dying to check the movie out. I have a lot of respect for Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale...I can see why he won for supporting actor. I would rate the movie 9 out of 10! biggrin

one of the funniest movies i've dseen in awhile. i wish i thought of that...its got that same vibe as one of my all time fave movies 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU. i definitely gotta get this with my $100 gift card i got for xmas at best buy with DREAD and SALT

ok i ordered thosr with purpke rain 20th anniversary, eat pray love and the runaways...

i finally got round to watching easy a after having it for fucking ages

i've been keeping my eye on emma stone for a while, and now she's going to be in spiderman, or batman or superman or something like that, which is ironic considering one of the last movies i saw her in was the excellent paperman, which isn't about a boy who delivered newspapers in a computer game who grew up, but has that bloke who was in that movie in the box for the whole fucking film cuz he's gay and fucking ugly and needs beards like scarlet yohanson and rachel from friends, and alan morris who did that ironic song that was about shit that wasn't even ironic. was he being ironic in that song? my fucking head hurts. emma was also in superbad, the rocker, the house bunny and zombieland (with the guy from adventureland with the bird from those shitey vampire movies, who was in that movie about myspace or twitter or someshit), all funny movies well worth watching

anyways, the cast was great, it was a bit of a who's who of popular telly, such as the blond stupid bird from friends, and the blond bird from that cheerleader show, and the son of the other bird from friends from that other show she did after friends, and the guy who does prince on saturday night live, and the bloke from clcockwork orange, and a load of other people who probably don't know who they are cuz they are in the type of movies that only appeal to the people who pick movies for the academy awards, like thomas haden church and patricia clarkson

it was kinda a teen comedy, but not your usually gross out american pie type, it was trying hard to be like a john hughes movie, and not only referenced the great man, but had clips of some of his movies in a breif segment

amanda byrnes was also looking cute as usual, but not as cute as some of her other movies as she was playing a jesus freak

not the most outstanding or intelligent movie of the year, but worth an hour and a half of your time to see an up and coming star alongside a great experienced cast
