CASE 39

As far as current horror/thriller movies go it was not half bad. I wouldn't say it was scary in the least but held it's own as far as plot (again, compared to the sea of crap this genre [one of my favorite genres] serves up).

3 star out of 5

I thought it was okay. I would have given it more stars if that annoying Renee Zellweger had [SPOILER]. giggle

4.5/5

Might as well give it 5/5 lol

I read the book a few years ago and I loved it very much, and the film is just beautiful, it's treatment made everything seem so realistic, and human, and heartbreaking. It's NOT a sci-fi movie, even though the subject is. I know others have been disappointed by this movie, but they probably expected it to be very different. This is EXACTLY how I wanted it to be mushy

It was definitely not much more than OK, that's why I gave it middle of the road rating. But compared to most movies in the genre (which are utter shit) it was pretty good.

And Brad Cooper took his shirt off. woot! biggrin

The original was great. I haven't seen the remake because they usually suck. Maybe I'll check this one out though. Lately all the movies I've seen have sucked, including Black Swan. confused

I have never fallen asleep in a movie in my life, but The Fighter and The Rite had me dozing. zzz

The Host was brilliant.

Another film that the lead actor was in which I can highly recommend was JSA:Joint Security Area

about the De Militarised Zone between North and South Korea....an amazing film.

Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Heeeyyyy... pout I liked the original. It went right along with my man-hating, revenge-seeking mindset at the time. razz
