Condoms do not protect you from herpes, crabs, scabies, genital warts...

but they are still a good idea for protection of those STD's that tend to be symptomless.

Question: Why are "crabs" called crabs when they are in your crotch but called lice when they camp out on your scalp? Isn't it all the same?

That's right and a lot of chicks who claim that they always make a guy wear a condom are usually the same ones that are sucking that cock raw.

All seems rather stupid to me if you're fucking a dude you're concerned you might get something from in the first place.

nod

Fluids are exchanged with oral and even though the ph is different, you can still transfer viruses/bacteria that way.

And that is a dirty shame. All of this protection and some sexuality active people are not using them.

But you know what is just as bad? How about the number of people that don't bother to use mouthwash right after sex.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the Pope saying condoms will give you STD's (or something around those lines)? hmmm

I swear he should be jailed for that. How many people are dying of HIV/AIDS in Africa because they won't use condoms because HE said so. disbelief

Condom sales are decline

Well couldn't this be down to the fact that people would rather go to a sexual health clinic and receive free condoms, than pay top $$$$$$ for a tiny bit of plastic?

BUT.......As a youth(Barely) lots, and lots of people I know have numerous one night stands(With or without condoms), which is due to the fact that they're drunk. We live in a sociality where sex is absolutely everywhere. What effects are these subliminal messages having on people today?

You may have a point there Timmy...hmm

Surprising reasons you're not having sex

February 12, 2008|By Leslie Goldman
  • Bringing too many distractions to bed can put a crimp in your sex life.
Bringing too many distractions to bed can put a crimp in your sex life.

Not getting any? You're not alone: Women today have less time for sex than their 1950s counterparts. And it's estimated that 40 million Americans have what experts call a sexless marriage (having sex less than 10 times a year).

A regular sex life is good for your health. It can satisfy all sorts of emotional- and physical-intimacy needs and help partners stay close, says Anita H. Clayton, M.D., a professor of psychiatry at the University of Virginia and author of "Satisfaction: Women, Sex, and the Quest for Intimacy." So why the dry spell? You can chalk it up to a sheer lack of time, but there are a slew of other reasons, too -- from weight gain and perimenopause to technology overload (stop texting now) in the bedroom. Here's how to beat these sex busters.

If they don't make any for women that seems unfair. I suspect that they are missing the point by wearing these....

I actually remember having sex ed classes as far back as 4th grade. Wasn't anything major, just informing the kids what the functions were

Now, in 7th grade (for me, this was 2000-2001), it talked about sexual activity, pregnany, STDs, and abstinence. Only one kid was not in the class because his mother wouldn't let him.

I'll never forget the class where they showed the result of having crabs, herpes, and other STDs neutral

If memory serves me correctly, the most I got out of the Canadian school system was the "So you're becoming a woman" talk in 6th grade. The boys got it too (only for men). The funniest thing was when the girls walked into the room, they had the wrong charts up. lol

I don't remember any other class that talked about sex, or STD's, or pregnancy. My mother gave me "the talk" when I was four eek, and the rest of the blanks got filled in by various biology classes...and rude noises from the bog (i.e other kids who've been there, done that, or know more than usual).

This awareness ad would have been better if the human's sex was 100% ambiguous, meaning the person would be viewed as male or female, with the scorpion resultingly being female or male as well. That way, it would not seem to be implicitly biased against women. confused

If the photographer had shaved that man's legs, the gender ambiguity would have been accomplished....'Cause from the butt up, that could be a woman's body (then the scorpion could be a man, especially with that phallic-looking tail/stinger).

Nonetheless, I think this picture is quite clever.
