The fashion industry needs to change. This impacts on school age girls.

My cousin struggled with this disease. I alerted my mother on how thin she had gotten in 2 months. She ended up in hospital for out patient help, phychiatrist help, etc. I'm glad I spoke up.

And bravo for you speaking up about your cousin!! You saved her life!

I remember at LEAST 3 girls at my school who were getting thinner and thinner

the daughter of my mom's best friend from high school was in the hospital being fed with a tube...just embrace your curves and stop trying to look like a stick figure!

i posted b4 reading link. i remember her on all the shows like et and insider!! thats sick. i dont get it. i was super skinny growing up but it was cause i was on ritalin for my adhd. now i'm thick in all the right spots and my super skinny mom is constantly calling me fat ass. skinny bitch. i like my figure!!

I think it's fine that people want to control the look of their body, but they have to know when it's getting dangerous.

whoever was in charge of that girls career should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves....as they had a big part in her demise...disgraceful!!
