A Question for the Gentleman of the Org... How do you look at women? What do you think of them?
I'm curious to hear your thoughts...
My last ditch effort at understanding men..

Usually I try to get a glimpse via a reflective surface. If that doesn't work I let them pass and pretend to crack my back. You can only use the back crack once every hour or so in any setting.

What do you mean, how do I look at them? There's Joy In Expatriation.

Like..how do you see them? As equals? nuissances? people only needed to screw and procreate..
One fella told me he sees women as stallions who need to be broken...that disturbed me.

I truly think some of them need to let go of that bullshit myth that the woman is always right.

Women are usually much more clever, sensitive and they're not as bad as men.

Nah, women can be just as vicious and evil as men. They just do it differently.
And that shit about the world being a better place if women ran it? No way!

i think female happiness is a theoretical concept, like absolute zero. everyone's a fruit & nut case

I feel sorry for a lot them.
I see so many who believe in fairytales and put themselves through the wringer to land or hang onto a man (or woman, for that matter). Getting up every morning and painting their faces...wearing uncomfortable clothes and shoes...shaving, waxing or electrolysizing this or that...starving themselves...devoting time they'd rather spend elsewhere to exercise they're only doing to make/keep themselves attractive...plastic surgery....the list goes on and on.
Sex & the City is not fun and empowering; it's poison. As are most rom-coms, magazines and pop music. They all push the notion that the be-all-and-end-all of life is a significant-other, as if that's the key to happiness.
This isn't to say that men don't have their version of this stuff - far from it - but you asked about women. I generally prefer them to dudes, but I see both genders as being mostly unenlightened.
...I should clarify that, when I see a skinny chick wearing the right uncomfortable clothes, who's painted her face in just the right way, I get a tingle in my special places and imagine having sexual relations with her (unless she's a good friend, in which case that thought is unappealing). Then I think of all the strings attached and the likely eventual outcome and I go on my merry way.
You asked. | |

you're asking a question about personality then, or that's how I'm hearing it. a woman's personality is judged no different than a man's personality. If they are nice, that's great. If they have a great sense of humor, even better. If they love animals, it's a god sign. If they act and talk crazy, well..that's a turn off. If they curse alot while talking, that's a huge turnoff. No different than a man.

I see beautiful women as sex objects, but at the same time I find it easier to be a woman's friend than a man's. I enjoy their company.
While I have enormous respect for some men, I respect a greater number of women. I find them to be more intelligent, more reasonable, more respectable, more honest. Even the men I respect have huge character flaws that balance their brilliance.
Sometimes I think women are the way humans should be, less removed from children in some ways, both physically and mentally, connected, soft, emotional. Men seem to have this imbalance of something that makes them ugly, overgrown, hairy, bulbous, angry, clumsy.
But sometimes I think the respect I have for women comes from my attraction. Whatever. I like them. My Legacy

In all seriousness, they all have a beauty (inner/outer) to them, something that makes them special.
I find that quality of character (as I get older) means more to me than any physical attribute. Some can be true queens, souls you can center and build a life around, whereas others make you ask "WTF?!"

I see them as 100% equal (but then again that's the way I think it should be for men, women, gay, straight, black, white, etc). I think they should get equal pay and everything else that men get. And I have always encouraged women to be sexually confident and have sex as much or little as they desire (yes, even for the ones I'm not in to). Fuck that old 1960's BS about "why can men sleep around and be cool but if a girl does it she's a slut". If you want to have a 1 night stand...do it. If you want to save yourself for marriage...do it. And to be honest, the majority of those that I hear putting down sexually confident women are other women, not other men. The problem though is that a lot of them want selective equality. -"I want equal pay but I won't dare pay for a date and women should never have to pay a cover charge" (I'm a bouncer at a club and always hear women complain about this) -"It's not that serious if a woman hits a man out of anger" -"I would never approach a guy because I'm scared of rejection, but I have no problem rejecting guys and being mean about it" Equality is about taking the good with the bad. Let gays marry. They're entitled to the same joy and misery as straight couples.
