Wheel of time is better (Eye of the World is the first book), but still not a masterpiece.

But beware, the series is like 13 books SO FAR and each of them is about 1000 pages!!

half way through Elias Canetti's "die Blendung". excellent so far. totally weird and insane.

just finished "snow" by orhan pamuk and "encyclopaedia of snow" by sarah emilly miano.

I wish I had read it in high school. I didn't read it till I was an adult. I don't know if it really matters, but it's definitely a book that should be on high-school reading lists.

On the 5th book in DIANA GABALDON'S 'OUTLANDER' series. Great adventure, wonderful history (turned me into a buff), even decent erotica. I've been in this series for the past entire year and I'm beginning to think I'm related to them.

I've read this series too. I love Jamie and Claire. I never thought I would like stories like this, but I was hooked after book 1. Can't wait for the next one.
