I got what I wanted for X-Mas without having to ask. It was weird. I forgot to give dad my "list". The top thing I wanted was a Flip Cam. That's exactly what I got. Now I can record embarassing moments....IN HD!!!

I also got another present. This one was very....VERY impromptu but well recieved let me tell ya. Nothin' says "Happy Holidays" like a side of hunky man! OW!!

got everything on my wish list.

one item being a sony 8 GB red mp3 player.

aside from the stuff i'm grateful to god that i lived to see another christmas.

I got a set of really nice, new pans and a mortar and pestle from my BF and that was exactly what I was looking forward to getting. I got lots of other really nice things as well.

But what I was most happy about was that the BF and I got to spend lots of time with each other’s friends and families and everything went as well as it could possibly have gone. It was our first time meeting the families.

This has been one of the best Xmases ever. I got a lot of really thoughtful gifts from johnart and my niece and cousin. My niece knew I was converting my son's old bedroom into my music room so she got me a clock shaped like a music note. And my cousin got me a "Black Girls Rock" t-shirt even though he had tricked me and said it didn't come in big girl sizes.

The best part is in the giving. I gave a friend a PS3 and Madden 11. I gave out tons of cash and took my oldest sister shopping and paid for everything.

Lastly I got myself a 64 gig iPod touch.

Yep. Got the bass stand for a birthday present.

I bought my nieces and nephews some toys, made my boss a jewerly box, bought my youngest some wrestling men, wrestling belt and a foose ball table. Middle child got some video games he bought with the gift card I got him (he wanted an Ipad-hes crazy! lol) The best gift was the record player I bought my oldest son. I did not know what to get him till it popped in my head at the last minute. He loves it so much. We went and bought his very first albums yesterday. It was cute seeing him excited like that lol. He bought some Led Zep, Black Sabbath and Carol King. He coudn't find everything so we are gonna go to some other places next weekend.

oh and I went to my aunt Lindas house and everyone had a good time. The highlight is that everybody got drunk and played cards without arguing! There was a bunch of drunk "I love you"'s and hugs instead lovely.

Yes, yes, yes, YES.... and no. Had to return the big YES, then returned what we got in exchange for the big YES and have decided to wait until a later date to get another one.

So as not to sound like I'm speaking in code, it was an HDTV for my bedroom. I have a GREAT one in the livingroom, so I've got something to compare a new one to. The bedroom version, even at 18" smaller, was NOT cutting it.

Otherwise, heck yeah! It was a great christmas - got a bunch of stuff I really wanted but wasn't expecting.

I do more giving than recieving. My 4-year-old is under the feeble impression that I am an overweight white man with a breaking-and-entering fetish. -sigh-

But I did get a new computer and some cash. The baby daddy got me a new pair of UGGS and a Northface. Cool shit from my ORG-SS. I'm a happy camper.

I'm one of those people who doesn't really like getting gifts from people. I'd rather give. If I want something, I get it for myself. I've always been Miss Independant.
