For what it's worth, I'm sort of gaining a rep as the Meryl Streep of Madison - at least as far as my ability to do accents. The last time I did a play without one was...2006, I think. I've done four kinds of British (Cockney, Estuary, Midlands and RP), Mexican, Russian and German.

And I have also done a New Yawk accent onstage. I played Blanche in Brighton Beach Memoirs two seasons ago.
