Our living room dining room is very retro/contemporary. We mix vintage furnishings and items with clean-line contemporary stuff. Our front window is VERY retro tho, or as Genesia puts it "Douglas Sirk-ish" LOL

We don't have a tree this year. Between Sweetie's surgery and my play, I just couldn't get it together.

There are black Xmas trees on clearance at Target right now and it’s far too late but it’s all I can do NOT to run right out and buy it. I want to decorate it all in lime green, pink and silver and it would look SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute in my house!

The one I found at the Mpls downtown Target is on clearance for $35.

I figure if they have any left next week it'll be even cheaper and it will be meant to be for next year.

I love shopping for Christmas decor AFTER Christmas. Nice n cheap. Were in the market for a new tree as well. I promised little miss Daisy a little pink one for her room, and I think I'll get a white one for the living room. ......maybe.

Yeah, that's for the smaller one. They're all sold out in the DC area. Best time to buy a tree is after the holidays where everything is 50% or more off. I used to love to go shopping the day after Christmas to stock up on the next year's cards and decorations, but since I don't decorate anymore, I have no need for the stuff.

I'm actually wondering if that isn't a smaller tree. No matter - $35 for a pre-lit tree is a steal.

I believe it's 6 feet. So on the smaller side, yes.

Which, my current ceilings are 11 feet so it will look tiny in my place.

But it's still bigger than the 2.5 foot one I have on a shelf right now.
