Org men: what's a romantic gift you would appreciate from your SO at Christmas.
and it must be able to be giftwrapped and put under the tree

I'd appreciate everything she would put down there, cuz I know it's from the heart "Time is a train, makes the future the past"

I think he would too, but it's so hard after 16 years together to think of something he would really like

maybe a video message of u telling him you still love him so much and he may choose a something?? "Time is a train, makes the future the past"

I have so far, one idea, gold class cinema vouchers something we could do together

I'd appreciate that, but then again I love to go to the movies. And have a nice dinner before. "Time is a train, makes the future the past"

I make him a nice dinner every night!
So I looked at the dinner and movie packages, and for both of us to go, it's $136 which is CRAZY
I could make him a nice steak, get a DVD for $2.95 and give him a BJ during the movie even if he wants. Save his hard earned money

steak, DVD and BJ that would certainly work

I thought he was involved in a band, at one point.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I'd think because he's making music with his band all the time is precisely the reason why he's not into other artists' music.

Listen up folk and take note. This is what you say in order to get anal.

I thought he takes time off from work for every World Cup.

Honestly -- and this may come off wrong -- I think an evening or two of peace, quiet and my wife and kid's absence would be AWESOME.
I love them dearly. But maybe some tix to a male spa (and, no, not "gay bathhouse" [Edited 12/2/10 10:18am] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

All men seriously like a Random BJ that we aren't expecting...and didn't ask for. A nice random BJ goes a long way. It really shows you care. [Edited 12/2/10 9:50am]

Cash (or a gift card) is always romantic in my book. Women tend to over-think the gifts they give to men. Most of us are a lot easier than women are. We prefer the simpler things. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

Why should it be romantic? Is it because giving a romantic gift is really about you? Meaning, does it make you feel better to give a gift like that? Or is it because a guy really does want a romantic gift?
I'm asking women in general here.

Michael and I have always offered/supported this for each other and honestly I can not imagine a marriage without quality ALONE time ~ it's a huge gift to each other/self and priceless in my book !
so
AMEN !! | |

And I suppose the romance could come in at the reunite. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that jazz. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Not a jerk at all !
I am not sure you can give a general "gift" of romance ~ Men think/feel much different ( usually ) about what IS romantic ... I had this romantic notion/gift giving idea several yrs back ... I gave Michael a once in a lifetime dream fly rod ~ in my mind the knowing that he would be so pleased and happy for years on the streams fishing his hearts content out was SO extremely romantic
and I was right

Does he have a hobby (other than music)?
If so you could get something that he would appreciate but wouldn't necessarily buy for himself, (a first-edition comic book, a rare bottle of wine, a subscription to something, etc.).
