What are your most proud about of your country of birth? Having a free National Health Service has to be up there for me.

Very little. I don't know everyone in Scotland so can't make any sort of blanket statement which isn't a stereotype arbiter or gross generalisation on the collective psyche of the country. Our wee pretend parliament is an impotent talking shop for some of our biggest bullshitters, liars and crooks so that rules out admiring political constitutions. History? Untrustworthy and written by the victors. I've seen four completely different stories coming out of one car journey - and I was there. I guess I only admire the actions of some of the people I know at times...and other times I don't when I disagree with said actions or intent. Words? They mean nothing. Just clothes a cunt wears to disguise themselves. Shortbread tastes alright Imsuppose.

Bagpipe music and guys in kilts are cool. And Billy Boyd has his good days. shrug

I think Russia did. They were inventing snow before Canada was invented.

I'm proud of the freedom and democracy we aspired to. I only hope that someday it will be a truth, and that we stop trying to force it other countries before we have it for ourselves.
