Well, no wonder this month's been a s*** sandwich, communication-wise! Mercury's been retrograde since December 10.

At least I now have an explanation for all the horrendous things that have befallen the rehearsals for the play I'm doing. On Saturday, we lost two people during rehearsal. Our director cut his finger on a set piece and had to leave to get stitches and a tetanus shot. And the daughter of one of the actors was thrown from a horse, so he had to rush to the hospital.
It doesn't fix anything - but makes it easier to cope, somehow. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |

ohhh.. that's why everything's been so shitty lately.... 
I've been having a terrible time. Try memorizing three plays and writing copy for about 100 new products when you can't put two words together coherently.
This past weekend, at one of our rehearsals, our director sliced open his finger on a set piece (requiring three stitches) and a cast member's daughter was thrown from a horse while he was rehearsing (so he needed to leave). Then...last night...we had to cancel a third rehearsal due to snow.
I thought it was because one of the actors uttered the name of "The Scottish Play" in the rehearsal space (that probably didn't help). But it can't all be because of that.

F' it. I have all the time in the world on my hands. I googled it yesterday.
It's pretty cool actually. My dumb car has been in the garage since last week, it wouldn't start after work the one nite.....
The garage said it needed a new fuel pump, but I told them to hold off fixing it until Mercury quits moving backwards, and just go out and try to start it then. I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure

Ummmm...Mercury retrograde affects communications (and communications equipment), not fuel pumps. So unless the problem is actually a problem with the car's computer, waiting probably won't help. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |
