I can only drink bottle water. I think the water in California is nasty. I wash my dishes in it, but i can not drink a glass from the tap. I just tried and couldn't finish it.

There is fluoride in it!

Through a Brita filter, yes. New York City is supposed to have some of the best quality water in the country. (Who'd a known?)

After I saw a program once about all the little nasties in tap water, I refuse to drink it.

I either use a filter or buy bottled water for drinking.

I will drink it. We have hard water here, but I don't mind the taste, and I'm not aware of anything in our city's water that makes it unsafe.

I'll drink bottled water at work, though, because the firm provides it. Also, if I go to a rave, I'll buy bottled water (the traditional raver drink), although I'll usually refill the bottle from the bathroom sink. I went to one party where the shady venue owner had turned off the water to the bathroom sink to increase his water sales--I turned it back on.

My dad is a water treatment expert and he says the tap water in Sydney is excellent (and the fluoride strengthens your teeth, too!), so I'm sticking with tap, although I must admit I prefer the taste of bottled.

I drink tap water all the time, I'm from Michigan so r water is pretty clean...
