Favourite sitcom scene

Which is your favourite scene? It could be from any sitcom you like and that's easy with amount of great sitcoms (Frasier, Friends, The Black Adder, IT Crowd..)

Here's mine..Ross (Friends) playing keyboards!

Seinfeld episode where elaine and frank costanza have that fight in the police station:

Frank: Who put you up to this, was it her?

Elaine: All right. Wait a minute. I think you've got it backwards.

Frank: My George isn't clever enough to hatch a scheme like this.

Elaine : You got that right.

Frank: What the hell does that mean?

Elaine : It means whatever the hell you want it to mean.

Frank: You sayin' you want a piece of me?

Elaine : I could drop you like a bag of dirt.

Frank: You wanna piece of me? You got it!

One word: shrinkage.

Some of my favorites.

And I couldn't find the scene of Chuckles the Clown's funeral, so I just picked a random one instead, because they were all good:

The episode where Johnny Fever gets drunker and drunker is another one of my favorites. That show was so good.

I'm not usually a sitcom fan, but I could watch The Vicar of Dibley over and over.

This whole scene is classic Archie Bunker, but the payoff at 9:41 is probably the funniest thing I've ever seen.

I once met a writer for "All in the Family" and he was the funniest human I've ever met.

I remember this scene. Absolutely hilarious. I love Archie even though he was a flawed human being. Those old shows are second to none.

I have a few....

  • Archie Bunker: When Mike and Gloria were fighting and Mike starts screaming "Take my pants! Take my pants!"
  • Taxi: When Reverend Jim was taking the driving test at the DMV... "What does the yellow light mean?"
  • Mary Tyler Moore: When Mary brought a date back to her apt. and she went to make coffee. She came out of the kitchen and he was standing there in his underwear.
  • Seinfeld: When Newman was using the mail truck to deliver chickens and he dragged that ironing board until the sparks ignited the truck... "Oh the Humanity!"

These are four that make me laugh out loud every time I see them! falloff

I can't find a clip, but trom Three's Company there was an episode where Jack Tripper needed to feign like he was married for some reason. (Was is maybe to thwart the advances of his boss' daughter? confuse) Anyway, he knew he was being watched from behind through a doorway, so he sat on the couch with a Resusci Anne doll, pretending to cuddle it, drink wine with it and make out with it. At some point, he kissed it and accidentally bit a hole in her lip -- and she began to deflate as the onlookers watched in horror! fallofffallofffalloff

I couldn't breathe from laughing so hard!

Plenty of favorites, here are some:

I would have to go with Seinfeld's the master of your domain episode. Where the cast wagers who can last the longest without masturbating. Also the outing of Jerry and george (Although they where never in.)

http://www.youtube.com/wa...kklW7VEBHA

Roseanne:

The episode one her dad dies and her sister Jackie calls her aunt to inform her that her dad is dead.:

"Auntie Barbara? It's Jackie. Jackie

I'm fine. Fine. i'm fine. I got some bad news. Dad is not with us anymore. I said dad has passed away. he's passed away. dad is gone. dad's dead. he's dead. no dead. dead! he's fine, he sends his love. bye. I am not doing that again. you can't make me!"

http://www.youtube.com/wa...zheeF5yPak

Will and Grace:

The Hospital Show-Grace is terrified about getting her blood taking and she gets an idiot to take her blood. (Das Boob gets honorable mention -Grace's water bra springs a leak)

http://www.youtube.com/wa...6cLhIhWGkQ

All in the Family:

The Sammy D and Archie Bunker kiss.

As mentioned above.

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

My most favorite sitcom in life is "A Different World". This particular scene of one of my favorite episodes is when Whitley is at the altar with the "perfect man" for her but can't seem to get Dwayne (her true love) off her mind.....but then Dwayne interrupts the wedding:

When JJ was commissioned to paint a portrait of his sexy neighbor, Mrs. Brooks. She was FINE as hell. Carl Weathers played her husband.
