I only eat the yellow ones and give the rest to my kids. Prior to having kids I threw the rest of them away. Do you only eat one particular color?

Do you still read the little sayings on them before you pop them in your mouth?

I'll eat all of them except the purple ones. Those are fucking nasty. I prefer the white ones. And yes, I tend to read them.

I always read the sayings, 'specially now... some of the sayings are a little different than when I was a kid!

NECCO must produce about 100,000 pounds of the candy hearts every day in order to meet the Valentine demand, when about 8 billion hearts are sold in six weeks.

Conversation hearts were invented in the 1860s by the brother of NECCO's founder. These first hearts had printed paper notes tucked inside. The lengthy, old-fashioned sayings included such wistful thoughts as "Please send a lock of your hair by return mail."

I don't care for the taste of them at all, actually...they taste chalky to me...

I love Pez and wish they made heart shaped bunches of their candy for Valentine's Day...
