Where Did You Learn Your Romance?

From your parents? From friends in college? Is it truly authentique? Books, movies, music, stars?? Where did you get your love swagger from?

LOVE HARD.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Not really. We saw each other across a crowded room and whammo! Together ever since. shrug

The notion I have "love swagger" makes me falloff

I honestly think I learned how to engage someone I "want" largely by observing friends, entertainers, older male role models, etc. throw game... and resolving to do the exact opposite! timeout

And things have worked out -- not altogether as expected, but far better, I think.

i learned from observing my parents.. they have been married 30 yrs and were high school sweet hearts.. i also learned from my grandparents who have been married for 52 (my gram was 15 when she married my grandpa.... i dont know i guess always being surrounded by a positive realationship influenced me big time.. well and of course all the romance novels and cosmo magazines i read as a teen... alot of trial and error too... i dont know i have been blessed with alot of impressive loving people in my life.. maybe alot of it rubbed off on me too..

insatiable3: how can i cure my hangover?
whistle: getting drunk is for teenagers. shoot heroin like an adult.... falloff

I like to think myself a romantic person...I think I got most of my romantic notions from the old movies. And loves songs..

But there are times I really don't know what I want. But I know most of the time...I like to be romantic. Have romantic thoughts...think of romantic scenarios...could go straight to the silver screen! razz
