that actually works, if you do it by night, next morning the swelling and redness has usually gone

My beauty tips in my early-mid 20’s were false eyelashes and wearing pink. Cause batting my lashes and wearing a color that’s girly and that I look good in makes me feel pretty and 90% of looks is how you carry yourself off. If you think you look good, most folks will too.

These days my beauty tips are to drink lots of water, get a good night’s sleep and find a good moisturizer.

Oh – and my number 1 tip has always been sunblock. I wear it on my face every day and on the rest of my skin if it will be exposed for more than 15 minutes. I am constantly told I look years younger than I really am and since I smoked for 16 years that just shouldn’t be the case. My family has not all aged as well as I have either. I’m convinced it’s because I take extra good care of my skin.

!!!!

And ladies, don't forget to moisturize your tittays and armpits, the underside of the arm WILL lose its elasticity, so keep that skin soft and pliable! Once that skin is dry... stretch marked floppy skin city!

And also the chest area.... those areas can not be fixed once they wrinkle.

I use a natural salt stone deoderant , my skin is soft around my pits too.

Back when I was a teenager, a friend's aunt sort of put it out there that his mom would do that to him. We all laughed at him, but I guess he did have pretty good skin.

My best advice I learned from my mom, start young. I've been moisturizing my skin since I was 12.

My beauty tips are all DO NOTS I learned from doing makeup and modeling.

Girls - DO NOT

pluck the shit out of your eyebrows

do not do a "smokey eye" like this:

In fact, don't wear any shadow up to your brow unless it's a neutral colour...and never use shimmery silver or white under your brow. This look is so trashy drag queen:

Also, please blend your shadow, a sharp line looks terrible:

Do NOT line your lips with a darker colour than your lipstick/gloss:

Do NOT line outside your lip line. It doesn't make your lips look fuller, it makes you look like a fool.

DO NOT overdo your cat eye look.

Makeup is supposed to enhance your features - even when you want to go with a bit bolder look. It shouldn't make you look like a drag queen.

I had friends growing up who would say that their aunts and grandmothers did this to keep their skin looking young. I seem to remember my Italian grandmother saying something about it, too. It had to be "first morning pee," though. lol

There's urea in lots of skin creams; it's an exfoliant. It's also excreted in your urine. eek

I don't think I could bring myself to try it. lol

It's what you make it.

I agree with the hair colour upkeep. I'm anal about that myself....I look so old if I don't. sad

As for smokey eyes, just don't go up to your brow....keep it on your lid and just a bit on your brow bone - but blend with a matt neutral - never with that white shimmer shit. Start light and add a bit more colour bit by bit until you get the darkness you want.

Keep it more like this:

lol I know.

But hey, I'm not opposed to colour. I love it...but it needs to be done right!
