Has anyone done this?

If so which one and how was it?

I did it back in 1994 and want to do it again but at 36 I'm just over the 35 year age limit. Has anyone volunteered in their mid 30s or been on a kibbutz where there were older volunteers. How did you/they fare? I don't really want to drink as many bottles of 5 shekel vodka before pulling 8 hours in the banana fields as I would back then.

i haven't done this. but, it sounds pretty cool from what i know. closest thing i came was when i almost lived with an amish family to learned basic arts like candle making, waeving, churning butter etc.

Never done that. I think it would be fun.
