I use a few movie/tv quotes, but only with people who will understand them.

You have to be really familiar with the film Matilda to get this...

My daughter has long blonde hair. When she has it in 2 plaits I look at her and say 'Ahhh, fresh meat.'

If one of the kids falls over and makes a quick recovery I quote Waynes World 'And she's ok. Game on!'

My step-dad loves all the same films as me. Sometimes we just randomly come out with quotes and laugh like idiots.

Most of the ones I actually use come from Caddyshack:

So I got that goin' for me. Which is nice.

Hey! Lama! How 'bout a little somethin'...ya know...for the effort?

That's a peach, Hon!

I could go on and on with that film... lol

I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I quote from Sex and the City a lot. One of my favorites is "I choose my choice! I choose my choice!"

My favorite TV quote of all time only make sense if you saw the episode, but here it is:

"Magnum, P.I."

Thomas Magnum to Ivan - "Ivan, did you see the sun rise today?"

For movie quotes, just take the entire scripts of "Animal House", "Caddyshack" and "Spinal Tap".

My sister's best friend from high school (with whom we watched Caddyshack all.the.time) is on the LPGA tour. She was paired with Bill Murray in a pro-am. She said she could barely play her round, she was laughing so hard. lol

When I have a bath and wash my knob I pull out a line from Coming to America "The royal penis is clean your highness"

When in the car if my girlfriend asks me how much further to go I get all spiritual and say "Its's just around the corner"

If I am shopping and find a bargain I say "It's a deal, It's a steal, It's sale of the fucking century" from Lock stock.

When I am with my girlfirend I say " your better pray for a strong back baby coz I'm not getting out tonight", That last one is a lie. I don't say that.

If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it!

I quote from Seinfeld a lot.

One of my favorite movie lines is from Grease:

- Sonny: "Women. They're only good for one thing. Then what are you supposed to do with them the other 23 hours and 45 minutes of the day?"

- Doody: "Is that all it takes?"

lol

"Love Hurts.
Your lies, they cut me.
Now your words don't mean a thing.
I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..."

-Cher, "Woman's World"

I have a good friend who loves to shout "Get OUT!" and slam her hands against my chest.

I think I'm her only friend who a) gets the joke and b) can take the hit. biggrin

Baldric, you wouldn't recognize a subtle plan if it painted itself purple and danced naked on a harpsicord singing subtle plans are here again

Oh it definitely is. Shame it never received more attention in the States. I think it's safe to say that far more people know Rowan here as Mr. Bean (and only then because of the movies).
