If you smoke, have you ever tried to quit? If so, via which method(s)? I quit smoking after college for a while, just dropped with no trouble. Picked it up again in February and haven't really tried stopping yet.

Recommend something (book, music, TV show, product, etc., etc.) Everyone should get the Kindle application for their smartphone. I've been reading SO much more than I used to and I LOVE it.

What is your favorite material possession? Probably my cellphone or mp3 player. Non-gadget, my copy of Hesse's Narcissus & Goldmund my dad gave me when I was 16. I take it with me on every trip I take out of habit, and now I'm anxious if I don't have it with me.

What is the best piece of advice you've ever received? probably my one of my closest girlfriends telling me not to shut off when i'm upset and force myself to socialize.

How have you been, lately? If you've been unhappy, what steps are you taking to remedy this? I’ve been great in some aspects, not so great in others. I had a fabulous vacation and am really crazy in love with my boyfriend. I’ve also gained 10 pounds this year and get depressed about it as I don’t know that I’ll ever get over food/weight issues. I’m gonna yo-yo forever, it seems.

Are you saving for your old age? Are you on track to have the kind of retirement you want? I am saving and I’m on track to have a modest but livable retirement. I always feel like I could do more, though. I won’t be able to travel the world like I do now. Hmmph.

Lotsa stuff. My family, my friends, my health...I've got a roof over my head and food on my table. I'm a lucky man.

Not really. I'm a big believer in routine and they (naturally) throw a monkey wrench in mine.
