My mom was the opposite, a total prude and whorish too... she was a go-go dancing fool. She was so pretty but would say the worse things to us. She was raised in foster homes and never raised by people who loved her, so I chalk it up to that.

Me and my sister eventually found our own way in life, but not before becoming teen mothers. disbelief

did you guys just rebel? or not know any better? how did that happen? She said "do what I say, not what I do" and you guys learned from her by example?

Dad walked out on us, so my mom raised us alone. She would have live in boyfriends. mad It was the way that generation of Latinos did things to "maintain" respect in the home... I guess lol

When she had a guy she was an uber church going prude, when she was single... it was partying hard and the Suger Shack all weekend every weekend and her behaving as if she were a hippy... weed smoking and all.

Now she never wanted to talk about sex or anything like that at all. She would clam up. But she was loving in her own weird way.

So my sister (she is successful now.. very, and educated to the highest level in -CPA and masters from DUKE) but she had a baby very young because she grew up fast and rebeled. She also looked 18 when she was 11.

Me, I was a goody-two shoes in the hood type, but I had daddy issues and got preggers at 19.

I am a dissapointment to my sister, because I work seasonally and on a part time basis to stay home with my children. My sister hates that about me since I walked away from college and took a "less desired" path. She's mad I left Harvard. But I couldn't afford it sad
