I think I'd enjoy his spoken-word stuff a lot more (his "music" is generally not my bag) if he didn't come across as so self-righteous. I didn't listen to these, but I've heard his Joe Cole raps before.
What I find kind of amusing about Rollins is that he always seems to state the obvious in a self-glorifying way. I guess some of this stuff is revelatory to some of his crowd? | |
