Saw a screening of Biker Boyz tonight (it comes out tomorrow, I believe). Anyone who's into motorcyles, popping wheelies, doing tricks & killer paint jobs, go see it! It wasn't GREAT but I did enjoy it - it will definitely appeal to the music video crowd, nice & slick, not a lot to the story, lol.

Frankly the material is beneath Laurence Fishburne but the film needed him to give it some kind of base, otherwise it would have floated off into God knows what. It's kinda fun @ times, nice to see some faces you don't see often (Larenz Tate, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Kadeem Hardison - LOL!). Lots of pretty people (Tyson Beckford ), maybe too pretty - the whole biker world is portrayed very much in a vacuum, not authentic enough... are there that many ex-model bike riding thugs?? LOL!

Anyway, not a glowing review but I recommend it purely for fun... check it out!

thanks CalhounSQ Iwasn't expecting much but at least it's not another "The Brother",The Wedding",The Hip-Hop Love Movie",The Wood",etc...alot of folks don't think Black Folks Ride Motorcycles so it's cool from that point of view at least.I Welcome seeing Black Films with as much Diversity Subject matter as possible.
