Parents. grandparents, aunts, uncles, next door neighbours!

If you know some special primary school age kids (and are on Facebook)

check out Magic Words International:

http://www.facebook.com/p...7930068841

I designed all this stuff - have been working for the creator of these products since 1999.

Since then I've had 3 kids(!!) and they all have learned to read using the card games and activities. They are all at least a grade ahead in their reading thanks to Magic Words.

At the moment, they are giving away parent packs to random "likers" of their facebook page.

Get to it! excited

Say Charlotte sent you nod

(I also made a lot of this website mr.green )

I'm paid by the hour, I don't get any profits razz

I'm endorsing it because it works nod

ask your kids if they have it at school! Apparently 80% of primary schools in Australia are using the resources. At the school my kids go to, the grade one teacher is a Magic Words groupie - her whole classroom is decked out in the posters and and stuff!

That'a cool.

What grade are kids really taught how to read anyway? Grade 1?

They teach kids in prep here, the first year of primary school. You have to have started prep by the age of 6, most kids being around 5. They are teaching Magic Words in prep and grade one here, from what I've seen, although they really should be consolidating it throughout grade 2 also.

I've heard it said that when a kid loses their first baby tooth, that's the perfect time to start teaching to read. lol
