Do you go out a lot and if so do you drink a lot?

I'm a regular party guy. I DJ at a place called Muziek Cafe and when I have the night off I tend to go out all night and end up at some afterparty til somewhere deep in the morning. With lots of lovley folks around. It just seems that when I start to party I just can't quit. And ofcourse the going out is coupled with lots of beer and shots.

The last few years have been an almost non stop party...

how about you?

I don't go out to clubs anymore, but my friends and I have Girl's Night at some of the local bars at least once a month.

I love patron shots, white wine, and tangueray with pineapple juice.

In my 30s, I went out a lot; drank in moderation. Nowadays, I go out as little as possible and I don't drink at all (with the exception of one light beer a couple of times over the past several years).

Not so much in the last year.

And yes, when I go out I drink...but not as hard as I used to. I do still have the occasional night were I get totally trashed, though.

Last friday I started around 20u, went to several clubs and had an after party til 8 in the morning. Then when I woke up I was still intoxicated and started anew. Ended in Muziek café and was totally trashed. Only some hazy recollection, but to my surprise when I woke up sunday morning I didn't have a hangover. smile

Not now that I'm preggers ofcourse, but before that I went out every other weekend when my kids were at their fathers.

I've been REALLY itching lately to go out, ever since Thanksgiving. I feel like I'm missing something.

I didn't really drink alot. I'd maybe have 5 or 6 beers and a shot or two on a typical Saturday night.

I've never gone out a lot. In my entire life I've probably gone clubbing no more than maybe 10 times. And, no, I don't drink a lot either. If/when I'm out, which is most often in a dinner setting, I may have one or two beers or glasses of wine. Then I stop. Never been drunk.

Almost all clubs here ignore the smoking ban wink

cool

here there's only one club that ignores it (to my knowledge) (but i haven't been to other clubs since they announced the smoking ban)

my favourite cafe ignores it though and they allow smoking weed too so i always go there

or to that club

a little variety wouldn't hurt though

recently a cafe where they held jam sessions twice a week was closed (they allowed weed smoking too)

there really isn't much to do here anymore

vroeger jonge , toen kon je nog eens stappen , hier lol

(maar is echt waar je kon elke dag leuk uitgaan hier)

Yeah, that asswipe smoking ban! Can't I just die painfully in peace, without the fucking government interfering? mad At least let me get to the point where I can get one of those funky, electronic voiceboxes or some fly nose-tubes!

I don't go clubbing anymore, when I did I only drank water/soda. I only went to the clubs to dance my ass off. I stayed on the dance floor all night.

Now, I just go to restaurants mostly, and its wine(1 maybe two glasses) and dessert martinis or spiked coffee with a meal.

Hit a show... grab a good meal with wine. That's basically it. shrug

Don't go out that much these days like I did in my 20's.

Probably drink nearly as much. neutral

I think cutting-back a bit might be a good 2011 resolution. hmmm

Do you go out a lot? - At least once every 2 weeks. I used to go out a lot more - before having children. I still make sure I go out and have a good time, but not as much as I used to. And frankly, I can't do hangover/chiildren combo.

Do you drink a lot? - A big huge YES.

^

the anti smoking nazi's didn't go to non smoking cafe's or clubs before the smoking ban , they were empty

so where are those people now ?

nowhere !

nowadays all the cafe's and clubs lose tons of income because people no longer want to go there

because the majority of the people that like to go out , smoke !

so that should tell you no one wants that stupid smoking ban apart from a few anti smoking nazi's

that feel the need to spoil other people's fun

and don't give me that 2nd hand smoke bs

it's a lie sponsored by the anti smoking lobby lol

cool

they should just have smoking zones everywhere , if there's enough room

otherwise it should be up to the owner of the establishment imo

it's his/her property after all

the smoking ban really is ludicrous , the more i think about it disbelief

I agree, it's a bar for Christ's sake, if you can't deal with smoke keep your ass at home.

Bars have been smoke free around these parts for years now and it's awesome. If you can't go a couple of hours without a smoke, keep your ass at your gross smoke smelling/covered home.

But no one really complains about almost everywhere being non-smoking...even the smokers.
