This fall it's strictly a YSL thang for me. I showed ya'll this one in the shoe poll thread a few months ago but I finally broke down and bought these joints. They arrive some time this week and i'll try to post pics wearing them, makes a HUGE difference IMO.

I also got these today. Loving the YSL Tribute sandal. I think I'ma start collecting these in different colors. For now I'm starting with Mauve and Nude. I haven't seen the Mauve in person so I'm taking a big chance but the Nude is beautiful on.

I promise I don't have that many. For real! Scout's honor. I gave some away so I think I'm around 70 pairs. But even before then I wasn't over 80. One my homegirls has worked at 9West PT for 10 years and she has literally over 500 pairs. Her hubby threw away a bunch in the garage a few weeks ago.

I'm not admitting to a problem until I go over 150.

You think 70 is alot until you hear 500. You think 500 is alot until you 2,500 (Im. Marcos).

If you thin them out as you bring new shoes in, then just buy what you love. If you start to find that you can't cope with the thought of parting with a single pair, start worrying.

I don't buy shoes just because. I've got my basics covered and now I only buy unique colors or finishes. I refuse to have 30 pairs of black shoes or some shit.

i don't have room for 2 many shoes, so i always toss out what i no longer need, and if a heel needs replacing ...they r often thrown out too.

i did get some nice ones the other day....

Skin tone can make or break this color for me. Is that a slight pinkish hue on that "cream" or is it just me?

Good point. I think it'd also depend on the outfit. A neutral should blend in, not become the focus.

I hope that mauve turns out as pretty as it looks. But that nude color was killa on me. It's actually a light gold. Really flattering on my dark skin. Like you said skin tone makes a HUGE difference with how shoes look on me. Those blue ones are really vivid and contrast well with my skin color too.

I got these this weekend

I'm slowing down on the shoes as I'm buying way too much shit lately.

So instead, I took a pair of velvet shoes I bought a few weeks ago and gave them a face lift. I was bored one night. Anyway, I like the way they turned out...much more glittery in person.
