Someone needs to nominate your love story to the Regis and Kelly show USA. They have this contest, and I think if the public at large knew of your story, it would help you ($$$). Heck they may start a reality show on your life! Your love story has so many extraordinary circumstances,

Thank you so much for your words . David always tries to tell me that things happen for a reason and that we might find a way to work evrything out and that I need to try to not worry too much .

BTW there is a lot more to that story than you know. Things happened while I was staying with him that usually only happen in books or movies, but that you never think will really happen to you in real life. And David's whole life before he met me was just crazy. His whole family background is so unusual. There is even a book about his mother and her extraordinary life and it mentions under what crazy circumstances David was born and grew up. So there would be more than enough storyline for a movie/book whatever for sure . And a reality show would be very hot tempered I guess .

I decided to not take the rabies shots. IMO it is insane that I got totally contradicting advice from different doctors if I am protected or not and if I should get them or not. It is about a deadly danger after all. But as the dog is still doing okay or at least was yesterday I guess I am safe no matter if my rabies vaccinations from September protect me enough or not.

Martina, I'm so sorry to hear things went so badly!

And I know you and David will find some way to be together again soon. You two have been through so much already, it's amazing how much you both persevere.

well, i've had the shots, and wish i hadn't. i was placed in a position where a minimal risk i took (rescuing a baby raccoon by the roadside) was turned into an opportunistic, ridiculous marketing endeavor by semi-qualified medical "professionals" who more or less forced me to have the shots by making it seem that i would be suicidal for refusing them. and the craptastic care that followed...~! O!M!G! you would not believe... :deepbreath:

i won't treat you to my rant about medical marketing (you can read for yourself about how many unnecessasry medical procedures are performed by doctors who have vested intersts in the pharmaceuticals and medical devices they promote.....)

enough about me. i surely hope you are okay. maybe the ORG needs to throw a fund-raising kegger on your behalf - bribe money for the immigration people.....

Wow, I am so sorry that you had to go through all that .

Awww that's a sweet thought . Especially as I just learned that from end of March on I will have to pay an additional 35 Euros as taxes for every long distance flight .

Awww you have just a good heart, but I doubt that it is possible . But you and my other org/internet friends and a very small number of RL friends are the ones who help me through this aweful times. I can never thank you enough .
