Wireless or wired? If wireless, does it actually have the wireless adapter? I thought mine did, so I spent about a very frustrated hour trying to connect it to my wireless network (I actually ordered a router from Comcast for JUST this purpose). Turns out... it doesn't have the adapter. redface Not only that but it's proprietary and lists for $80! I found it on Amazon for $45, though.

Mine didn't come with an adapter either but I was not about to pay $80 for it no no no!

I finally found one for $25 biggrin but it's still not connecting, I'm googling away trying to get the answer

I bet there are many orgers who would like to plug up and play with your effing arse.

Well, I'm still gettin' my geek learn on as far as wireless stuff goes, but I do have a couple questions. First, did you need to get a proprietary adapter? I had to buy a specific adapter from the same manufacturer for mine. It wouldn't work with any old adapter. Second, is it recognizing that there is a network and not connecting, or is it just not seeing the network? Mine was seeing it on auto but I couldn't get it to work. I had to add it manually, which was kind of a pain in the ass.

In this day in age you can't know too much about computers. I am still at the library and don't even know how to post pics on the org. Tried to get someone once or twice to help me, they said they knew computers, and they couldn't figure it out. mad times a million.

Umm.... copy the link (location, url, etc) of the pic, click on the tree icon up above this box, paste the link in the Image URL field and click insert.

Some sites will not allow hotlinking, so the pic won't show up. But a majority of the time it will work. If you have something of your own to post or something you've saved because a hotlink wouldn't work then you'll have to upload it to your own PhotoBucket or Flickr account. Once you've got the image there, follow the above instructions.

back to civilisation today, went up to the country for a few days, which was "interesting".

It's 5 hours drive from here dead

On the way home today, Wally puked in the car and we sacrificed a floor mat and Optus towel barf

It's nice and all, I can see why my folks like it up there in the mountains, but for me it has limited appeal boxed maybe because I grew up there and couldn't wait to get away?

It looks incredibly beautiful, like someplace I would love to visit and drive around in for a few days, maybe do some camping. But I can't live more than a short drive from the water. And preferably a short walk. lol

A good size river will do for a period of time, but I need the ocean. With tieds and waves and stuff. lol I should just say "the ocean", because that's what I mean when I saw "the water".

Is anybody watching the Auburn/Oregon game? Is this not an incredibly boring game?! Granted, I watch NO college sports. Oregon is my family alma mater, though, so I felt somewhat obligated. But DAAAAMN! This game is boring.

I like this guy too much, I tell myself that he's just a bed-buddy... nothing too special, we are just having fun.

Yeah... so now I hurt my wrist (carpal tunnel) and it be from the lingam massage.... sigh

so I saw him today, and the sex was wonderful. I think I hurt my hand more.... it hurts so bad. Typing with one hand. I am so dumb!

disbelief

Did you go to a doctor? If so, did he prescribe anything? I had wrist/carpel tunnel syndrome issues maaaany years ago before an ergo person came to a place I was working and told me EVERYTHING about how I was sitting and typing was wrong. I changed all that, but I also went to a doctor. The doctor prescribed a months worth of naproxen. At the time I had no damn clue what naproxen was (this was like, somewhere between 15 and 18 years ago). Well, turns out that these days naproxen is the active ingredient in Aleve, which happens to be the only thing I can take for pain that doesn't make me nauseus (I'm not a good pill taker anyway - I always forget to take them). Anyway, my point is, try some Aleve if a doctor hasn't prescribed something already.

I've not had a single problem since then, btw. I think my issue was really just how I was sitting (low) and typing (with my wrists bent downward).

I'm wearing a splint, and on Motrin now for another week or so. I see the docs again tomorrow.

I actually thought it was signs of a heart attack at first... but I'm OK in that dept. whew

They were laughing at me... so I'm trying to tone down my "trash" for a bit.
