Babble Thread, for the crazy 8th time

Ironically that I of all people should start these damn things because I have the most boring remarks. However that IS maybe the whole purpose - to say shit that is not worthy of it's own thread but you need to say it anyway.

I still don't have much of a life but I have made a new friend who I will never meet and it's just aswell. He sends me silly porn pics and some are hot and some are oh so damn gross, lol that it amazes me that anybody thinks they are hot. Funny how we are all different. He isn't an org buddy but he knows I am on here, whatever. Anyway I am so not a porn lover and yet I totally look forward to my daily pics from this guy. It's like the best part of my day, boxed hahaha.

I am also suprised at the pics I DO like. I love all the pretty girls with big dicks. It would be fun to be one of them for the day. cool

There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

^ eek My babbling would sound totally boring after that!

For now I'll keep all my babble to myself until I have something more interesting to babble about.

i'm conflicted about road salt. on the one hand, it's a great way to de-ice the roads so we don't die. but at what price? that stuff poisons our water table confused

I'm direct when I want to say something or ask something, I don't know how my question could have been construed as me asking something else!?! ***grumble*grumble*grumble***

>Me: I was calling to see if my service had been turned off as per my request from yesterday.

>Rep: We cannot discuss the new customer with you, normally we don't do that.

>Me: Um... I just want to know if my service was turned off because I don't want to pay for someone else using my service, was it turned off?

>Rep: I can't have it turned off from yesterday, just from today.

>Me: Um... I called yesterday to have it turned off and they said today it would be off, did you guys turn it off?

>Rep: >proceeds to repeat about the new customers...

> neutral

*Did I say something wrong, is it me or was it her? neutral

the roasted garlic hummus is a lot spicier than the regular hummus. it might be a little too feisty for these chips.

The ex I was not married to e-mailed me out of the blue. We almost never contact one another. In the past 3 months we've shared maybe a total of 6 sentences split between two occasions.

So I get an e-mail at work

Her: What's your mailing address?

Me: [Address]. May I ask why?

Her: Gonna send you something. Don't worry I don't plan on stalking you. Besides, I usually don't give people a heads up before my stalking activities.

Me: It's cool, I wasn't worried about you stalking me. Besides, that doesn't require a mailing address. You already know how to get there. What are you sending?

Her: Yeah, I do know where you live though you could've moved. dang what's up with all the questions?

Me: There were only two questions. Just wanted to know what you're sending is all. If roles were reversed and I asked your mailing address with no details, you wouldn't be the least bit curious? (This is a rhetorical question. It does not count.)

Her: no, I would be curious but I wouldn't ask. I might be sending you an invite or who knows...

Me: Oh ok.

========================================================

Is it me or is she being weird or playing games? I know it's holiday season and all, but we aren't really on the sort of terms where I could see either one sending holiday cards. Even if so, that doesn't seem like something one generally tries so hard to hide. Also don't get why she'd try to build it up to more than it would be if that were the case.

So what the fuck? That was the end of our exchange. Remember this is the first time we've said anything to one another in like 5 weeks. The last time before that was probably a month or so prior. Now an invite? In the mail opposed to simply an e-mail? Ain't that reserved for more serious shit?

Lol, that thought occurred to me. Why the hell would she invite me to a wedding if she were getting married? Who does that? And why the hell would she expect me to go?

we invited our exes to ours

I don't know how serious your relationship with her was, but the way we thought was, we spent many years with our exes, and were our closest and best friends, so they should come for sure.

No, she and I knew each other maybe a year and half before dating. Dating lasted a month and a half maybe two. That was Sept. 2009. We stopped keeping in touch for the most part throughout most of 2010. Weren't exactly buddy-buddy at all. We mutually avoided contact with one another. Now this.

Exactly. Guess I just get to wait a few days and maybe find out. The only other thing I could think of was maybe her returning something I gave her. But thinking back on anything I gave her, I can't see any of it being worth the trouble.

There is so much snow! No school today, the kids are uber-excited. They want to build snowmen in the garden and then go sledging later. I've just wrapped my son up warm. He's wearing a pair of his sister's bright-pink leggings under his trousers. He squealed with delight when I showed them to him. I have a feeling he'll want to wear them again.
