On the rare occasion I actually take our vehicle to a full-service wash, I usually slip a dollar or two to the guy who is lucky enough to be standing closest to me when I get in my ride. I am conflicted about take-out, I sometimes tip and sometimes don't. I am glad to hear not everyone does!
Tipping is getting out of hand, though. It really should be voluntary for excellent service only and employers should simply pay their employees (ie raise the cost of food) enough for them to live off of. But a standard 20% tip really makes no sense. What is the point? My Legacy
