So don't get them anything. What's the problem?

I don't have to get them anything, but my mother in law and sister have drawn these 2 kids out of a hat for kriskringle.

Oh... well my heartless sarcasm wasn't really any help them. Sorry.

hug I know

and if I leave them to their own devices, I know we get crap nobody wants pout

anyway, I've decided already!

Guinness book of records for the big kid, and a kids digital camera for the little one, who said to me wistfully this afternoon, I wish I had my own camera that I could use any time I like, so I think that is a good thing for him.

Honestly, those are both great gifts. I have fond memories of the Guiness books from when I was a kid. nod And who doesn't like a camera? Especially now that they don't require film. lol

nod I read them too boxed and the Ripley's Believe it or Not books

I want to get him one with more MP than 1.3, which is what the kids camera's seem mostly to have - the thing is he gets a better smile out of his brothers and sometimes they fluke a fantastic shot which would be a shame if not high enough res to make a print out of.

My eldest took this pic of his brother when he was 7 and it's awesome!

Train or race car set. They could build Legos towns around their train or racing set. A racing set maybe way cooler because you have control over it verses watching a train go around a track. Anytype of remote control cars, firetrucks, . . .

yeah Candyland is for young young kids.

Mousetrap was great, but I never wanted to play the game I just wanted to set the whole thing off.

I liked this one, too, and there were no parts to break/lose like Mousetrap

That's a beautiful shot.

My daughter has been hounding me for a camera lately, too. hmmm She's inheriting my old MacBook -- all refurbished with clean-installed software -- for Christmas. Maybe I'll consider the camera for her birthday... if she's a good girl.

Talking about board games, Junior Monopoly is a good one. My kids love it. I'm getting a bit bored with it now though. I just brought them this for christmas -
