Why not just go to the app store and search on "camera flash?" confuse

I clicked thinking this was an iPhone thread. If it were, you wouldn't need an app to have a flash. nana

I'm pretty sure the flashlight apps just turn your screen on full brightness, which doesn't help the camera on the back of the phone.

Your droid's camera either has a flash or it doesn't.

Most smartphone cameras these days come with a constant on LED so it will work with video also. Either way, they aren't very strong and only work when you're really close to your subject. This is usually with some ambient light, also. Near dark? meh, they're useless IMO.

Xenon flash camera phones were much better, but they are actual "flashes" of light, so they don't get much use these days because of the video problem.

This is probably the one instance where iPhone can boast about it's "Flash" capabilities.
