i forgot my account name but i can get into my account just fine

how do i check my name ?

(must've tried everything , it's not under 'profile' either)

(now don't say 'send me money and i'll tell you' )

Your PayPal account name is usually a email address.

Did you try the link below the log in section that reads "Problem with login"?

I have no answer for why it may have disappeared, but..

Go to> profile, select more options from the drop down menu, on the name section, click change.

You should be able to edit or add your name there.

Were you knocking back a few , when you signed up

Hate it. So many pins - so many passwords - so many glitches.

I have a similar problem - with Linkedin. I've only ever had two email, never changed anything and know the password...but it seems that because I've been inactive - don't have time or care to 'connect' to every joe in the world. Man, some people have a full time job just making connections. Who has time for that? Too many requests from people you haven't a clue about? The game that's played. It's incestuous, can be very disadvantageous, even dangerous to a business. Ahhhh sorry, off track.....ANYWAY... Lilnkedin no longer recognizes my email - yet my profile's pops up and I can edit, but it keeps reminding - sorry we do not recognize your email. I say 'nevermind'.

Paypal though....because it's abut $ - is it safe that you can go in and transfer funds without them officially recognizing you or you proving who you are. May be safer to cancel that account and set up new one.

no , there's no option to edit your account name (or even establish what is is)

it only enables you to change your email address , home address , phone number etc

That's so very odd, you can't change your name. That option is available here in the U.S. though.
