Adult Porn

:
Is it worth anything? For the most part it seems to serve it's purpose, or does it?

I used to watch it back when I was married, and that dates back to the 80's when the stars of porn were John Holmes, Ron Jeremy, Ginger Lynn, Vanessa Del Rio, and Marilyn Chambers - to name a few.

Today, it's silicon and plastic surgery. neutral

Do you have a favorite, if so, why? Is it their body, or the character they play? (seriously)

Finally, do men discuss porn with their buddies, or is it taboo? Like, hey man...I saw this porn movie last night...blah, blah, blah...

question

What is your opinion on Adult Porn?

Heavenly

It's not about the bodies for me, I don't care about the characters or story line. What does it for me is the excitement and pleasure the woman shows. The more real it looks, and the more she seems to enjoy it, the more excited it gets me.

Hmmm.

I think the full time Porn Stars are SO passe and really just not sexy at all. They can *uck anything and they don't even feel a thing. And they're all screwed up believe me.

I'm sure some Porn's probably pretty good but I've never seen it. The few bits I've seen have been PROFUNDLY unsexy.

According do a documentary I saw the other day on telly i nthe UK the trend nowdays is towards the amateur Market.

I'm also slightly afraid of Porn- its like the Dark Side of the Force. Its dangerous to dabble I feel. You start off watching a bit and end up in a Gimp outift living under a shop somwhere.

There's this guy where I work (who is NOT me!) who has a computer at home, logs onto chat rooms at night and some women perform for him infront of her web cam. He has a mike and tells them what to do- though they can't see him.He even shamlessly told me how he once went to visit this one woman. Turned up at this caravan site, she opens the door dressed in her nightgown, they 'do it' all night long he drives home in the morning. Wonderful huh?

Plenty of blokes do discuss it. Don't ask me what that means.

As far as I can see 90% Porn is just crap.

Now if I was the director...

What's "Adult Porn" as opposed to "porn" - is there a difference? smile

Anyway I don't discuss porn with my friends - frankly I'd rather they keep the subject of their masturbatory habits to themselves!

Old school (man, that sounds lame when applied porn).

Lav,
Like you, I started watching porn in the 80's. Nothing beats the natural look of the women back then. Now days they're all too surgically enhanced & tattooed & pierced.

My old favs: Ginger Lynn, Babrbara Dare, Victoria Paris, Keisha, Tori Welles

Current favs: Felecia, Charlie, Jenna Jameson

Why these women? Their look/on-screen perona

As far as discussing movies with buddies, I never do it. I may discuss a starlet, but I never discuss the action.

Adult porn is fine... provided that is consensual.

Well can you explain the difference? I'm not sure everyone is aware of the difference between regular pornography and "Adult Porn".

Child Porn. I didn't want the thread filled with posts about it.

I think pornography is healthy. It's exciting to see sexual relations.

However, I don't like that women are portrayed as being sexy only if they have "Hollywood looks". Now this is generalized I know. But it is degrading.

The older movies are so much better. They are real. And what I like best is that there is more emotion shown in older movies. More passion. Smiles even. More like lovemaking.

As a society we woman battle TOO MANY debilitating standards about how we should look. Right now, I think porn is part of cancer that killing the reality of the physical body and our social/sexual psyche.

Jesus, it didn't even occur to me that anyone would consider that when discussing pornography omg

Here's my take on porn. Pornography is a good, healthy thing. However I don't see the point of the expensive productions with stories, characters and "stars" - really, for most "consumers" of pornography, that stuff isn't very important smile Men generally don't want romance in their porn, or great acting!

That said, a lot of the more "hardcore" and more amateurish pornography is quite degrading to women... and some of it makes you quite sad to see it, when you think that these silly girls are people's daughters, wives, sisters etc. I don't enjoy any of that stuff at all.

So to make up for it, I urge you all to skip the plastic boobed cocaine addicts and the waif-thin schoolgirl porn actresses and go for the whip-cracking PVC-boot-wearing dominatrix variety of porn. It's still exploitative, but at least the girls get to kick some ass for a change! biggrin

Isn't Ron Jeremy still in the business? I know he was here not too long ago for a promotional appearance at a local nightclub.

Personally, I liked porn more in the late 80's/early 90's, when you could actually find the same actress in more than two films...and more importantly, the muff on those women was usually neatly trimmed or a V or a landing strip.
The totally shaved look in most of the current porn really does nothing for me(especially when it's showing "mileage").

I'm getting the impression that more and more women(real life now)watch porn and are thinking this is what guys want and shave their bush off. shake

Note to the the org females: real guys like a nice trimmed bush. Not razor thin, and definitely not shaved off. About half an inch to a quarter of an inch. nod lick

Was a big Ginger Lynn fan. Also a Traci Lords fan (back when she was performing, I was a young teen! wink ). Major Nikki Charm fan (although I've seen her recently and she's SO FUCKED Up it's sad.) Tori Welles. Jeanna Fine. Tianna. Asia Carerra. Flame. Aunt Peg.

The Butt-Woman series was my favorite of them all. Bruce Seven was a hero!

I find porn 2 be rather boring...very predictable and generally not all that arousing...

I prefer sex scenes that happen in normal movies. Cuz these are alot more erotic with the way its film, usually alot darker and they dont show everything 2 U so U gotta use your mind a bit which I like.
I hate the way porn movie give U everything explicitly on a plate...

Its like when looking 4 porn on the Net, instead of going 2 a gallery and looking at pictures or downloading movies, I'd go on a decent sex story site 2 excersise my mind....

Anyway, Ive gotta a really good and vivid imagination so i dont really need porn at all...

The main reason for my thread, was that there is a TON of money being made...who contributes to this pot of gold? I know it's joked about a lot, and everyone does bathroom jokes about it. Somebody is liking it, and shelling out enough money to keep it thriving.

I wonder if it is purely for getting someone in the mood, or is it unfulfilled sexual fantasies? Perhaps imagining being with a male or female of your dreams...

I too find the imagination to be much more vivid and erotic, as there is nothing to limit the imagination. Which is why I enjoy a good book, over a good movie.

did you see the abc news special last week that was on the porn industry? they followed belladonna around for two years. they even showed some of the scenes she did. apparently companies like GE and Sheriden hotels are getting most of the profits.

Yes, I did. It's been a trend on the News shows lately. It's really strange to see all that stuff right on broadcast television...they even showed a scene of her being "beat", slapped on the face and stuff - there was something real about that scene. It was rather over the top for me.
