My wife is dragging my ass to wal-mart, Kohls, and Sears.

I might venture out for a thing or two but I ain't doin that insame 4 am bullshit.

I thought I'd might hit some of the stores much later in the day, but since I just hosted my first family Thanksgiving dinner and have had little sleep in the past 5 days, I'm most likely not going anywhere. In fact, I'm going to try to sleep in.

I went to hit ToysRus to grab something for grandbabies...no way in HELL! The line was so flippin long, we just went back to the car, came home and ordered online. It was NUTS!

why not tell your wife to go without you? Unless you want to go, to which I would ask: Why the hell are you doing that?!!?

I'm not really seeing anything marked down to ridiculous levels that would warrant me going shopping at 4 in the morning. Kind of a silly marketing ploy in my eyes.

I say boycott the whole shit. Imagine if NO ONE bought a thing today. That would be awesome.

Amazon.com has a $500 Kitchenaid mixer for $250 though, that's pretty good! No 3 am wake time, either!

This year,I finished my shopping early so no need to go out on Black Friday.I bought nearly everything on-line this year.I did the 4 AM Black Friday thing the last two years,this year I needed a break

I wish we had something like that here in Holland

But it hasn't stopped me from joining you guys as in shopping

The winter has truly begun now here so I really needed a new coat and boots and ...nvm

Then we went to PetSmart (sis needed litter and food) & DSW.

I just woke up a little while ago- slept thru most of the Rutgers game (they lost! ).

I didn't get everything I wanted, but made a nice dent!

I was at Walmart at Midnight last night. My sister wanted to lok at the toys that were supposed to go on sale at that time,so I thought,what the heck I'll go.

They were already pretty full,most of the people were I think waiting for the Wii systems that they were supposed to have on sale.

No I have done Black friday before,but I never experienced it this way. They had a print out map online for a few of the items that were really marked down,and you had to get in a line to get a bracelet,if you got the bracelet,you could leave,but had to be back at 5p.m. to get the item.

All there ads made it sound like ALL electronics would be available at a first come first serve basis at 5p.m. There was nothing about these "special" bracelets.

So basically if you were not there at midnight,and got yourself in a line,you missed out. I thought that was a little unfair. The only reason I found out about it is Iheard to woman talking about them.

So I stood in line for the Nintendo DS systems that were on sale for $89,got my bracelets,went home slept for 2-3 hours,went back at 5,got the DS systems,and picked up a couple of other things on my way out.

I am beat!

Started at 3:00 am didn't stop shopping till 1:30 pm.

I had lots of fun, found some nice bargins, and I've completed all of my Christmas shopping.

I did that one year w/ my wife. We hit those stores at like 5:00AM. Hit Kohl's, Target and Toys-R-Us. By 9:00AM we were sitting at Ihop having breakfast and ready to go back to bed!
