What do you do when your feelings are hurt?

Do you cry?

Laugh?

Have an orgasm?

I get really angry. I want to slam and smash things. It feels shitty and I kind of wish I didn't get that way.

It's what you make it.

What does applying a bandage mean for you? Having a drink? Giving yourself a mental kick in the ass? hmmm

It's what you make it.

Mentally apply a bandage. I try not to get too angry, it uses a lot of energy.

actually, I should point out it's everyone else - I'm talking innocent bystanders, the one who hurt my feelings I'm too proud to let know err

I am usually shocked at first, but once it sinks in, I'm pissed.

After I calm down, I need to go back and let the person know that my feelings were hurt and why.

If I do it right away, I tend to say something I can't take back... redface

Your lies, they cut me.
Now your words don't mean a thing.
I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..."

I stew for a while, then talk about it with friends who haven't hurt my feelings. Then I figure there's really nothing to be done about it, so I try to forget about it and move on.

But in general I do not forgive.

hmmm and if it's hard, it must be the right thing to do, like admitting I'm wrong, which I do all the time because it makes other people SO DAMNED HAPPY! woot!

so, from now on, I am going to burst into tears at the scene of impact - honesty is the best policy!

AND I'm going to do it in a natural involuntary way so as not to LAY ON THE GUILT, because I'm not that type.
