Heavenly

Is she too young for a stripper? biggrin

You'll need to give us some more details about what she likes, her hobbies...anything that would give us a clue on what to suggest.

I had a Bar-Mitzva at 13. After singing a few verses from the bible, all the crowd threw candy at me and the at the kids that were running around and picking them biggrin

Then we just went to the park and had a picnic.

When my nieces were this age (one is a Goddaughter) I would take them in the car and go for a long ride ~ usually to a cool little town ~ we would get REAL cuppacino and something deeelicious. I would ask her questions about all areas of her life ~ no censoring or judgement. It was amazing the aspects of their lives I would learn ~ and that they would share. We would go to a book shop, record shop or somewhere similar where they could pick out something very special that they had been wanting. Spending the time together and making them feel as special as they are was a great experience for both of us. Have fun! butterfly

If she is sentimental, a nice piece of jewelery that she'll always keep is nice. When I was 13 my great-grand Auntie Marjie, whom I loved GREATLY, gave me one of beautiful pairs of gold earrings. I still have them and wear them. And think of her everytime I do cry

That's a BEAUTIFUL idea! The Auntie that I mention in my post above, was like that! We would sit and talk everyday. That made me feel so important. That's why the earrings mean so much to me. She was like you hug

I like this... we have always had an open relationship, and she is the person who taught me real love..

Berry, I like that as well. I have this diamond ring that I am gonna give her.

A special trip (even if it's a day trip) for just the two of you is special too. smile I remember when my older sister took me out for my 14th birthday and we had a very 'fancy' dinner and she bought me some jewlery.
I'll never forget it...I felt so special. It wasn't the material things that she gave me that made me feel so good, it was the time she spent with me. smile

DORA

have a welcome to teen years day..

such as go out and have nails, hair , and a massage

then go out for diner at the mall...

just so you can gossip about what other people are wearing and point out all the cute men..

then go to a really good sappy movie...

i did this with my daughter when she turned 13...

Diamond ring, ohhh sag she is gonna love it! You are too sweet hug

Let her know how much you love her... turning 13 for me was hard and I think it would have been easier if the people around me had verbally let me know they supported me.

And DORA's got some good ideas too - get her a pedicure and maybe buy her a nice shirt or something! 13 y.o. girls always like that stuff biggrin

Tell us what you did when it's all over and done with!
I mean, like, where is the sun?
