Somehow I think you would like "The Source" by James Michener 99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%. |

however, the Year of the Self Help Book was less fun than usual. othat was the year mom went on a spree, got everyone in the family a self help book of one kind or another. it was also the year we knew we'd best get to work on ourselves....
You def. want "to read "The four factors to keep your Free from Self-help books in four minutes" 99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%. |

I love homeade gifts... I love xmas ornaments that people make, most of our tree is ornies that my kids have made, ones I have made, and homeade ones from friends...
Lots of people dont like the homeade things like my sister... My daughter started doodling and she was very good so we bought her charcol (sp) pencils and the paper and she is amazing at it, so my sister loves this angel monument at the cemetary my dad is at, so my daughter went there, Its in another town and hour away, took pics then came home and drew it, matted and framed it for her xmas gift... It still is sitting on her floor... It makes my daughter sad as well because she was so excited to do that for her...
So, its not everyones cup of tea but I love homeade stuff!! Be it food, ornies, or whatever!!
okay I'm really not trying to be mean (for a change)
but you do mean homemade
cuz homeade sounds like a drink gone all wrong....lemme get a sip of that homeade!

One time when I was about 8, my uncle on my mother's side gave me and my brother personalized pencils. Well, at least they had the right first name on them.
But for some reason, he used HIS last name (my mom's maiden name) for us, instead of my dad's last name.
I guess I didn't like that gift much, but we laughed about it in my family for years and years. |
