It says that you have to not have any hair on October 31st. Start with a clean face and then the hair then has to grow on the upper lip only, no hair anywhere else on the face...no connecting to sideburns, no soul patch, etc.

I was "um, no"ing the concept of the growth. I didn't realize it had anything to do with charity, though... although I'm still at a bit of a loss regarding how lip sweaters help raise money for cancer research.
