Eva Longoria Seeks Divorce From Hubby # 2
November 17, 2010
Three years after a storybook wedding in a European castle, Eva Longoria filed for divorce Wednesday from basketball star Tony Parker. Longoria was married to General Hospital star Tyler Christopher from 2002 to 2004.
Longoria, 35, and Parker, 27, were engaged in November 2006, then wed – as fireworks lit up the sky – on July 7, 2007, at Chateau of Vaux le Vicomte, a 17th Century castle on the outskirts of Paris one day after a small civil service.
The double wedding celebrating came after a week of partying in Saint-Tropez, France.

Maybe the question we should be asking is, "Is there any one athlete who has been 100% faithful to his wife/significant other?" I guess this is a stupid question. Who would answer truthfully?

But it was a celebrity match. People who follow celebrity news are interested in such things. I think it'sj ust another one of those things people pay attention to like royal weddings, or I guess like back in the old days when people read about what was happening with Liz & Richard, Joe & Marilyn, Hepburn & Tracy...there's always been an audience for what's going on with Hollywood stars. Seems pretty harmless and I doubt it will change. I remember being a kid and following to the letter who Andy Gibb was dating
Anyhoo, the were only married for 3 years, they were together for 7 or 8...makes me wonder about the 7 year itch theory. Lots of couples seem to hit a struggling point once they reach that year and I always wonder why

True, but she's ALWAYS struck me as a climber. She dumped JC when she came up and got her paws on lil ol Tony.

Another fool undone by texting the jumpoff. I wonder if she had a fidelity clause?
Eva Longoria has confirmed the new Us Weekly's exclusive report that she and husband Tony Parker have split. "It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce," she said in a statement Wednesday afternoon. "We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness." Citing irreconcilable differences, she filed for divorce Wednesday morning in Los Angeles Superior Court. The filing comes on the heels of the latest Us Weekly, which reports that Longoria Parker, 35, recently discovered that her husband, 28, has been exchanging personal texts with a mutual female friend for nearly a year -- hundreds in just one month.
