I can't relate to that really...

The only ex I had a thing for was my children's father. Because of the children we had to stay in contact.

I had a vulnerable moment, I started digging him after we all had a lovely day together...

so me being who I am (I never beat around the bush... ever) I asked him straight out if he wanted to stay the night and have sex.

He said no.

That one "no" was enough for me to shake off any residual feelings and never went there with him again.

This past Mother's day he went out of his way to try to woo me and begged me to be in his life again, I told him to fuck off.

I never remain friends with my exes. Its just how I am, so if I see an ex, I wouldn't have a "thing" for him... I'd keep on strutting keeping my eye on new possibilties only. wink

All of the above. lol

A-I'd see him and run and hide to avoid contact.

B-He'd recognize my hair (curly afro) and somehow catch up to me.

c-This would turn into a long chat over Starbuck's about everything that went wrong last time, how we've been, who has it the worst this year....

d-which leads us to "other"--e mails that turn into visits that turn into spending the night. ohgoon

My ex-wife I would still f*ck.

My ex-g/f I would like to f*ck but would be hesitant because I worry I could catch some shit she caught in the interim.

It would depend on the circumstances that made them an "Ex". And it would also depend on whether we saw each other, or if I just saw them.

Most likely (depending), I would say Hi, then keep it moving without further conversation.

I still talk to most of them. Talked to one of them for an hour and a half tonight. So it would probably be B, because I'd have already spoken with them (somewhat) recently.

B - Stop for a sec and say Hi.

Unless i'm having a day where I look like shit, in which case I would say A - Run and hide.

EXCEPT it's days when you look like shit, that people come up to YOU to say hi, lol. And you have nowhere to run, lol. Then, to make matters worse, they say something like "Oh, you look tired", or "Wow, what happened to you?", lol.

nod Isn't that always the way it goes?

I once bumped into an ex during an unexpected late-night dash to the supermarket. I honestly couldn't have looked any rougher if I tried. lol

I think when we feel like shit, it makes us vulnerable. And sometimes I think it's that vulnerability that draws people to us.

I would definitely do b. Depending on the circumstances, I would do c as well. Depending on what happened during chat and coffee, maybe d. lol
