I mean...I could say I wish I had told my dad to stick it when he said he wouldn't pay my tuition if I majored in theatre. But the truth is...if I changed any one thing, it might mean I'd never have met Sweetie. And since that was the single best thing that ever happened to me, I can't change anything that came before that.

Actually I'm cool they way things turned out but the quality of work I see in certain areas of the things I love drive me nuts.

My choice of career after college. If I had had any sense, I would have gotten a job in the federal government. I would have been retired by now sitting pretty!

I actually did exactly that, I loved the idea of graphic design very much, but at college I did surprisingly poorly LOL. I got my degree despite everything, and I love doing it even now, so

Like u, Gray, I would have majored in music instead of the "safe" major. I ended up majoring in Journalism. I thought I wanted to work as a writer or editor, but changed my mind once I started going to school. I ended up being a graphic designer (which is in the almost same field...kinda).

If I had followed my dream, I would have either stayed in radio or tried to work on the business side of music. I think I would definitely love a job like that better. Not to mention, the pay probably would have been a tad better.

As for regrets, I don't really have any. I feel that God has put me where I am for a reason. As I look back over my adult years in the workforce (from college up to present), I still utilize all of the skills that I learned on my old jobs. Telemarketing taught me phone ettiqute, substitute teaching taught me how to work with the public, while working at a major publishing company taught me that there are some strange people in the world with strange ideas and everything else.

I majored in music, and part of me wishes I'd majored in business

But I'm not too big on regretting past decisions because I could waste the rest of my life worrying about mistakes, and life is too short for that.

Yep. At a major yearbook company and had to do design for them for a while. I then transferred to the desktop publisher side (which really sucked because of the hours). It was fun coming up with concepts for the different books, but when we became machine, I hated it.

The crazy part was that I worked on my college yearbook for one year and hatetd the people. I also was the editor of my hs yearbook.

See, I have nothing in my life like that, thankfully. If I did that would probably be my answer.

There are a few things I did to other people during a certain time in my life that I wish hadn't happened. But those particular actions are so closely related to a much larger picture that they couldn't be changed by themselves. So, no go there on the do over.

There's a couple of heavy family interactions that I wish never happened, too. But we've worked through them and everything is fine now. Maybe even better than if those things hadn't happened all those years ago.

I've thought about this before as it's actually asked fairly often and I just don't think there's any one single event that I could choose. Whole sections of my life? Maybe.
