wow! really? really? that is what you really want to go with?
He said that he's being made an example of and even stated that the prosecutor even admitted it. But I tend to believe it does have a bit to do with "tone" and perhaps his attitude. He snubbed his nose at the IRS and they said, "OK, nucca. You wanna be cute? We got something fo yo ass!"
According 2 the King show............he did NOT ignore the IRS. |

so his first notice that he owed was a summons or an arrest? He was never given a chance to come up with a payment plan? He was just arrested and charged? "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!" |

Leona Helmsley was originally sentenced to 16 years
Richard hatch (Survivor) was sentanced to 51 months
this had to do with tone as well
they were both dicks
just like Wesley
man up, pay your taxes and accept your blame
eager prosecutors have a hard time making examples
of people not trying to get over on the system
How is it you feel? |

Either watch the show and understand the facts of HIS case or there is NO point 2 discuss. |

watch his lies? please he KNEW he was trying to not pay his taxes. he did not even file a return when he had income 3 times. And he made up all kinds of wild lies to try to get away with it. So save it. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!" |

There is a judge on the show with facts. Is he lying also? |

[Edited 12/9/10 8:04am]
fact is he's going to jail
his interview did little to change my mind
just like his appeal did little to change the mind of the court
dont forget the fact that 2 others associated with Wesley
were sentenced as well
one to 10 years
another to 4.5 years
was he made an example of...absolutely
but he's no victim-except of his own actions How is it you feel? |

i do not know, i have not watched it, remember this topic is about wes going to prison not the one show in which wes tries once again to convince himself he did nothing wrong.
as for the judge, he may not be lying, he may be giving an honest opinion based on what he believes to be the facts.
So it is possible that what the judge is saying is accurate, based on what wes told him. It is also worth noting that what he is going to prison for is not over his non-payment it is for not filing his taxes. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!" |

I still don't understand why they refused his check for the amount of money he owed?....he paid his taxes before and missed 3 years...if he comes up with that missing money, shouldn't it be over?
I've seen others just pay up and that's it...IDK...I guess it's not that cut & dry... |
